Heartbreaking, someone I don't really care about made something good. You know you can separate artist from the music my dude. Sperging about trannies is not good for your health.

I absolutely adore the cottagecore aesthetic. I'm not so wild about the mushrooms but I love the gingham and lace. I love the flowers. I love a good rural farmhouse kitchen kind of vibe.

There's this pair of overalls that fit the goblin/gnome/mori/forest-girl aesthetic and lifestyle. Specifically the "Henna Garden Gnomes" print. This color was out of stock when I went to buy some (the two other prints didn't exist at the time and the prints were the same price as the solids back then), so I went with the "Fir" green. I got them on double-sale, so I only ended up spending about $50-$55 for them, but I kind of think they'd be worth it at the original price too because they're really high-quality and great for working in. Lots of pockets!

Those are fantastic. I'm going to watch for sales. I do know if I want to wear gnomes so was looking at the green/yellow ones...but I really like this rust color. Guess I could just do a solid, too. :-/. But the kneepad pockets and 3 lengths available is really selling me.

Duluth Trading Company usually has good quality stuff - how have yours held up? Wash well? Thx for posting these!

I bought my mum one of those years back. I think they're cute
I have a decently sized collection and they’re the best dragons I own. They get pretty dust so I need a good cleaner as not to damage them and to clean every crevice.
Does hanging out innawoods running around like a feral creature looking for cool bugs/birds/reptiles/etc wading in bodies of water picking up trash count?

Fuck that trad shit though, that shits gay and unrealistic.
Trad shit is pretty gay I agree. I just wanna own a small cabin and some animals so I can eat gyros everyday and knit sweaters out of wool.

At the bottom of their homepage they have a "sign up for our marketing emails/texts and get a coupon" that with their sales prices, so keep that mind for $ savings.

Mine are holding up really well! I've only had them a few months, though, but they're really comfy and sturdy. I haven't actually washed mine yet because I use them exclusively for working and have only gotten dust, which brushes right off, and smoke smell (like campfire, not cigarette) on them. From looking at reviews and used pairs online, though, they apparently hold up well to machine washing. No shrinkage, but the dyes fade a bit. I took a pic of the care label on mine:

For all th girlies and gross boys and whatever that want to live innawoods: a warning.

the internet out here is bad

and 911 takes too long to respond in a timeframe that would offer help
That’s what a hamster and a wheel is for. It’s also why there’s a gun in your safe, on your desk, in your bed, and in your shower.

Ah you're lucky! I could only get my hands on a couple in the small town I grew up in; and I gave both away as presents to other people :C

I want to get some cashmere goats because they have such beautiful wool for the same reason. Hey, let's run a goat farm together! Cashmeres' for their wool and Nigerian Pygmy goats for their milk! Then we can sit in front of the fire of an evening and knit, drink tea and gossip about lolcows

Well I don't have a five year plan, as long as you're welcoming to guns, a dog or two, and a bunk bed i'm fine with it.

I want to love these aesthetics but they've become so tied in with SJW nonsense it isn't even funny. It's the same as a lot of traditional handicrafts, they can't just enjoy a hobby anymore, got to politicise it or else you're some horrible right wing woman who wants to be oppressed just because you're engaging in an activity that's traditionally feminine.

Sperging aside, I do appreciate seeing modest, non-skimpy clothes as an alternative to the skanky trash that's on the market these days. Prefer pastel blues, greens, yellows and purples to beige and the earthy tones you often see with this aesthetic though.

I'm going to watch for sales.
Duluth Trading Company currently has a 25% off and free shipping sale going on. I think the marketing email/text coupon will also stack with this discount. I'm trying to resist the urge to buy a second pair that I don't need, lol.

I've always imagined myself earning enough money to at least buy a cabin in the woods or a small plot of land to herd sheep. I just always liked hands on work and can see myself doing all that and then downing a whole pitcher of milk with a helping of manna bread. Never fully lived a life like that but i've been close enough to like it.
A friend of mine is living your dream, ha ha. She worked just hard enough in college to make her parents happy as a pharmacist, and I still think they haven't noticed that she's been a full time cottage farmer for years.
