Video got me laughing for sure but I like the direction. If it were me I'd say this is the perfect ending, a good horror story always ramps it up right at the end.

Half of it is ideas from the Condemned videogames which makes me wonder if UrbanSpook is partially inspired by them, also the red man bit makes me wonder if maybe The Arm from Twin Peaks is also a inspiration.

The moment that he went for the direction of having Mona Lanius to actually talk, is where he ruined the mystique the character had. Her monologue felt way too forced and tried so hard to be edgy
The goregrind montage with the paintings was fun though, the only thing good about this final episode really

In general for the whole series. The abstractness of the artwork and titles where your imagination filled the gaps was more interesting than being told outright what was happening. Also, it always came off as comical, not horrific, whenever that style was used to create 'photographs' or videos.

One aspect of the painting montage I disliked was the repetition. Several pieces felt interchangeable to me. There was another long-maw figure, another “Jigsaw”-like victim, and too many subjects shared the same visual language, sometimes even the same descriptors. That sameness was kinda disappointing and undercut what should have been a standout sequence.
That last concept had promise. The red man, and the callback to Self Portrait with Mona rendered entirely in red, were strong ideas. But man, the dialogue failed to support them. It lacked impact and clarity, which was especially frustrating given how effective the phone call scene from a few episodes earlier had been. The contrast in quality is hard to ignore, lowkey.
There were flashes of ambition, like, using the blender and painting process to bring figures toward the camera, and introducing 3D models...but it never fully came together in the end. I was hoping to see a broader use of mixed media, something that pushed the montage further. Instead, it settled into familiarity. Not the biggest fan of that, but oh well.
I saw some people in the comment section of the video talking about how Urban apparently stated in the past that people were going to hate the ending. It makes me wonder how long he actually had the ending in mind while making it.

Oh I remember that guy, I got his video on FNAF in real time recommended to me. Didn't watch it so I can't comment on its quality but I can't imagine it's good. What did he sperg about specifically in those...accursed fandoms?
And man, guess nothing related to Urbanspook was worth posting about until recently. Shit died immediately when people stopped crying about it in mass.

It sucked. Even the shittest video essayist/reviewer/whatever-the-fag can make me interested in the subject of their video even if it's a subject I don't care for. And here's this guy, covering the mildly interesting subject of a bloated FNAF fangame, surely the game will be so shit that it's amusing or the drama surrounding it will be funny in a sad, pathetic sort of way, or maybe it'll be the most boring shit I've ever experienced in my life.
