Well there’s nothing wrong with OK per se, but there are even less people and things to do there. I mean at least KY has a lot of natural beauty. She could lose so much weight just by enjoying the great outdoors where she is, honestly. When I saw she’s likely moving to Oklahoma, I thought how the hell is she going to like that place any better?…

If she does move to Oklahoma, I don't think she will live there for long. She will probably clash with her mom and whoever her mom lives with. I don't know where she will go from there. Maybe she'll end up finding another caretaker/girlfriend online and move out to live with her.

Kristine is likely scrambling to find an affordable flat for her in Oklahoma City.

It's too dangerous for her to live alone at her size.

I'm not going to consider them as having ended their relationship, "breaking up"; whatever they choose to call it, until they're living at separate addresses. Amber has made it clear she's going to dig in her baby soft heels hard when it comes to that. I think she still believes that she just has to make the right noises long enough, buy enough snap backs & graphic tees & wax eloquent about how heartbroken she would be & Becky will obediently trot back to heel & sit/stay until ordered otherwise.

I don't know. The level of smothering we see from Amber, the control freak stuff clearly on display... even a stolid lump has to have a breaking point. But has Becky genuinely reached the point where she'll willing to throw over a level of discomfort with which she's at least familiar in exchange for scary unknowns? I'm guessing she's willing to take that step. I don't know her past relationship history but she IS mobile, has held jobs & seems better equipped to handle adult tasks compared to Amber - maybe not by much but surely enough to cope on her own.

What makes me hesitate is how cowed, how increasingly childish Becky has become since Amber entered her life. It's hard to imagine a prospective employer or landlord taking her seriously when she presents as a severely overweight, sullen, 10 year old looking individual but maybe wrenching herself out of the ALR orbit & the influence of friends & family may change that.

As for Amber, she's got problems. She's 30 & her cutesy kittenish persona is at odds with both her age & her blatantly bloated, useless, helpless self. There may be people willing to take that on but the pool of those willing to jump into an overtly problematic situation has got to be small.

I don't know if her mother went 12 step but if she did & has maintained that, you can bet her sponsor will make it clear that allowing Amber to live with her poses serious risks to her sobriety. You'd think she'd know that after spending time with her last summer but who knows?

I'm willing to bet Amber is doing her damnedest to keep Becky as her Prime Minion. Becky is a known entity & Amber is narc enough to think she can make just enough superficial changes to keep Becky in her orbit. If Becky is aware of that manipulation though, I don't think it's going to work.

I don't know how much better either would do if they split, (think Becky would find is easier to improve her life) but staying together the way things are now is not going to end well & Amber is clearly not willing to make any changes.

Agree. That’s the thing though. Every state has nice little spots for various fun and activities. Even if you have to drive over an hour, it’s there.

Amber sees herself as some skinny, sexy influencer who wants to parade around on the beaches of Cali. In her mind, she’s too good for OK or KY or any other fly-over state.

In reality, she’s a gross pile of pure lard with hoarding tendencies. She is trailer park trash personified. She is the embodiment of gluttony. And this will never change.

At least she wont have to worry about a tornado picking her up if she moves here.

Any idea where in OK she's thinking of moving? If its south OKC she'll have a heck of a time getting food delivered reliably.

Unless she finds a new girlfriend or Becky decides to stay, Amber is on its way to Oklahoma. She has been complaining that her vlogs are boring. She could start a "Day 1 to Oklahoma", describing the logistics or the move and so on. It might be interesting.
I agree, but Amber is too lazy to take advantage of the opportunity. This is the same woman who made her cancer arc boring as shit.

I think that for Becky to stay, there will be a hard bargain from her. Becky will want Amber to change, be able to go anywhere without Amber tagging along, moving to the Somerset area in Kentucky and so on. I am not sure if Amber will accept it.

This is what Amber wants us to see of Becky. Unlike Amber, she had a job and live by herself. She is a grifter but, as we saw in the Live Streams, she is smarter than Amber, she is also more flexible and has family in the area.

I agree that Amber is in a whole lot of hurts even if Becky stays. The cuteness that Amber had when she was younger is now pretty well gone. She is continually sick and in pain, less mobile and almost bedbound, having less money from bad financial decisions. She had no problem being taken care of; I am not sure if this will last for much longer.
I don't know if her mother went 12 step but if she did & has maintained that, you can bet her sponsor will make it clear that allowing Amber to live with her poses serious risks to her sobriety. You'd think she'd know that after spending time with her last summer but who knows?
I am sure that Kristine had seen enough of Amber's nonsense. She might help her to move to Oklahoma City, but she is not going to accept to be her guardian at her age. We do not even know if she lives in a walk-up flat, and Amber does not do stairs. Instead, Amber will have to live on her own and Kristine or her aunt might drop in once in a while with groceries or doing some cleaning.

Agree

If Amber moves to Oklahoma, will we see her lean into the cowgirl aesthetic? Yee haw y'all!

Becky will be fine. She's got some friends and family to talk to, she can drive, she's willing to do things for people. There will be a place for her.

I Becky is dumb.. but I do not think she is stupid.

I think the break up was a brutal combination of fear and mortality.

Becky sees how immobile Amber is (bedbound probably) and sees her own weight gain, diabetes, etc. mounting.

I think shes just smart enough to think about herself bedbound.. and how Amber would absolutely leave her for dead.

Moms death made her current situation too real.

If indeed she moves to Oklahoma, how much will it cost?

New flat ($1,000/month): First and Last month + Security deposit = $3,000
Moving: Truck rental and accommodations on the way: $4,000.
New furniture for the new flat: $4,000

I am not sure if I am off base in my calculation, but basically, she would be using all her remaining savings, so no bariatric surgery in Mexico anymore.

Rent doesnt have to be that much. Loads of apartments around OKC are ~$1000 or less with a $250 deposit, with only first month rent needed up front. Though I dunno how unpaid hospital bills would affect her renting prospects...

I'm curious if she'll end up in a shithole like Del City or a more affluent area like Edmond.

Amber, in the next year or so, is going to be faced with the reality that while she can make enough on YT to pay rent and eat she doesn’t make enough to take care of the massive health care issues and needs of 600 lb woman.

If Hamber was 250 lbs she would live just fine on her YT income, but she’s not. I honestly can’t think of anyone over 450 lbs that’s not reliant on disability. Even if they can do some sort of job from home they still can’t handle the huge health care and daily assistance costs that type of obesity causes.

I won’t buy this breakup completely until Becky is 100% moved out.

As for moving to Oklahoma… well short of finding a cheap place to live that takes pets in OK City or Tulsa… she’s not moving. Why only those 2 cities you ask? Well they are the only 2 cities in OK that have Cheesecake Factories.

What is wrong with Oklahoma? I do not know much about. There is a nice Broadway musical with this name.

It's in Tornado Alley (the swath of the country that gets the most tornado action during the summer in the US), it's flat and dry a lot (no rain and petals eavesdrop there), and it's at least as conservative -probably slightly more - than Kentucky is. Unless she lives in or right on the border of one of the cities, she will also find her food delivery choices are not ideal for her discerning palate.

I don't know. The level of smothering we see from Amber, the control freak stuff clearly on display... even a stolid lump has to have a breaking point. I think Big Al really screwed the pooch with Becky on how she treated Becky's family in general, and Norma in particular, and how she tried her hardest to isolate Becky from them - an then to top it off, not only was she rude as fuck to Becky's mother, but she made demands of Becky to care for her when Becky wanted to spend more time with her mother. She just failed to read that gauge and she's paying for it now. No amount of coloring books and snapbacks will cover that, no matter how nervous Becky may feel. Becky, actually, has the upper hand in this anxiety arena: she has friends and family who legitimately care for her and who would, in a pinch, take her in for a period of time while she got on her feet. Big Al has no one except her mother, and the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that MamaMeth does not want Big Al moving in with her and her partner.

As for Amber, she's got problems. She's 30 & her cutesy kittenish persona is at odds with both her age & her blatantly bloated, useless, helpless self. There may be people willing to take that on but the pool of those willing to jump into an overtly problematic situation has got to be small.

That last stream, where Big Al muted their end while she told Becky what "friend" she's been talking to - that has me curious as to whether that is the next butler in waiting.

She is saying flat out that Big Al needs to start working on her shit, including sleeping alone, so I think she's on her way out, 100%

I'm sure she also is aware that "other YTers" like Trisha Paytas, et al, live in LA or NYC, and not in some Podunk town in flyover country. We know she thinks she's on a level with those "other people".

Why does she even hate Kentucky when all she sees is the inside of her apartment and the inside of national brand stores?

Surely it wouldn't matter which states Wolmart or Owlive Garden she is in, as they all look the same?

See above.

If Amber moves to Oklahoma, will we see her lean into the cowgirl aesthetic? Yee haw y'all!

Anyone know the average number of cowhides it takes to make a totally leather cowgirl outfit? We can extrapolate from there how many cows would have to die to cover this cow.

Can’t wait for the “I was akshully never even attracted to Becky” confession a few months from now.

"Density is still my one true love."
