It's shown marginal improvement where I am. People have been overstating the lowering of prices as much as the chicken littles overstated the spike. It still sucks bad. Been higher than i recall under Mr. Sleepy.

Rubio knew the paki peace talks would fail and instead recommended continued airstrikes on Iran. If Hamas gets drawn back into this, Israel is understandably not going to cooperate and then we will back back at square one. Actually worse than that because Hamas and Gaza were settled until today.
Btw, what good did inviting the jeets into negotiations do? Fars (Iran) admitted that they were just farming izzat and not doing anything productive. Now Qatar is leading the mediation.

Meanwhile, morons like myself ended up being correct.
They're going to engineer a solution that makes the Strait obsolete and further marginalize Iran. Whether Iran comes to terms or not, it's over. UAE already has a working proof-of-concept.

That'll be my vote in 28. Can't believe I ever used to see Vance as a successor. Marco is all but guaranteed to maintain a vigorous interest in south america. With Vance I can only see him running his mouth about church history on tv like some twitter sperg and failing to have any backbone when he meets real resistance. Better to take our chances with a machista than someone who'd be better off toweling the sweat off the brow of some lesser Saudi prince.

Incorrect. The physical gate has been forced open since the US sent the two burkes to the UAE and back; that what the marine ships were for. Marines forced open the gate and now Iran is gaped.

Rubio comes across as the smartest guy in the room by nature of the fact he doesnt run his mouth all the god damn time. That enough is a major point in his favor.

That's because the average American household spent a whopping 2% of their income on gasoline before the war, whereas Iranians only spent 20% of their income on food.
Since in absolute terms Iranian standards of living are so much higher than in the United States, Iranians barely notice spending 40% of their of their income on food now (likely up to 80% or higher for minimum wage earners who were already spending more than half of their income on food). On the other hand, Americans, with much lower absolute productivity, are absolutely crippled by an increase in spending on gasoline that's less than one percent of their income.
Of course because their standard of living is so much higher in Iran, Iranians generally only work as a hobby or a way of killing time. Massive unemployment is of little consequence for them.
With US unemployment numbers down, it's clear that the American dogs will be worked to death in no time, while the average Iranian enjoys his ample free time in a tropical paradise.

One of those three is a LNG tanker. The other two have been trapped a long time. The evacuation plan for trapped ships began yesterday using Iran-approved "evacuation corridors". Something like 160 million barrels has been trapped on tankers on the other side of the Strait.
What's interesting is that Iran waited until Kharg Island terminal was fully drained and sold before finally opening the evacuation routes.
