Serious question: could Amber even fit in a dental chair? I bet she's embarrassed by the thought of literally not being able to fit in the dentist's office or chair and that's part of the reason she doesn't go.
Even if she could fit in a dentists chair how would the dentist and assistant maneuver around her to get the dental work done? I think they'd have to work from almost behind her head to reach anything, as wide as she is. Some of the more modern dental chairs are pretty large, but I just don't think AL would fit. They have to make bariatric dental chairs, right? Especially in a state like Kentucky where a good portion of the population are severely obese.

They do. My dentist has one bariatric chair and the rest are normal. It's a lot like this:

Just like everything else in a constantly fatter world, service places adjust. The problem in this case is not the chair, but as someone mentioned, not being able to comfortably get to the patient's mouth. And the room with the fatty chair has be bigger, which eats into their profit ratio versus square foot.

Are there potentially issues with leaning the person back and them not being able to breathe?

I would imagine there are, because damn. Another thing to hate: when your insurance company ups your premium because you added fatass chairs. All sorts of things could go wrong that would be solely related to their weight and not the generic crap that could happen in a routine day.

This is so funny, enormous body with a little head sitting on top, just like Amber. How fat do you have to be for them to use the chair? If they tried to usher one of the Truly exceptional Haydurs of Facebook & Reddit into it, would they be insulted?
