Lol, that dude used the screenshots I made and which I posted in the other thread, including the schreenshot where I edited in DSP's "HUH?" and "Nothing I Could Do" emotes. :story:

Its achingly obvious by now Phil basically turned a form letter into the Alamo with him as Dave Crockett right in the center. He does this all the time, textbook narcissism. If you thanked him for holding open a door one day he'd probably find a way to blow it up into a lifelong friendship if it was convenient.

After entirely too long, I finally figured out how to record the second Pre-Stream that Phil neglects to upload to Youtube (I'm only marginally less computer illiterate than Phil). Basically, you just download OBS, link your Twitch account and hit "Start Record".

A lingering tech problem: Twitch was constantly giving me the "The Twitch Machine got unplugged" error. My recording cuts-off at 1:38 (lel). I'll post it here anyways for transparency/clarity/posterity:

"The trolling was getting completely out of control... um... and it's been pretty fuck'n annoying. And basically what was happening was we were doing Moderation Actions [!] to keep these trolls in line. We were doing things like putting on Followers-Only Mode, etc."

[On the 19th during another one of my procrastination fueled DSP check-ups, a Moderator fumbled the Follower-Only Mode, forcing Phil to immediately turn it back on manually:]

"But what they would do was they would do 25 bit Cheers, which basically they could figure out a way to do it for free".

[I think someone must have told him that viewers can get bits by watching ads, this becoming a dastardly clever ploy in Phil's mind.]

"And they would basically do it, and it would by-pass everything, even if they shouldn't be able to talk in the stream chat cuz they have a day o- they have an account that was made 20 minutes ago that's like: 'Phil is a fat fuck', or something stupid like that, ya know".

[It sounds like the thought Phil begins with is that banned Troll Cheerers were still able to "by-pass everything", even though banned accounts can't Cheer. After tripping on the word "day one", Phil then goes on to say that "an account that was made 20 minutes ago" and made to Follow Phil was a dastardly clever ploy used to "by-pass" the Follower-Only Mode.]

This Troll Cheering would happen many times an hour: "People were constantly complaining. They're like, 'What is going on with this? Can't the Mods do anything about this', and the Mods were like, 'No, we can't. We can't stop the Troll Cheers like that'".

[The decision to up the price for attention wasn't up to Phil alone. The harried Mods had been backed into a corner.]

"So what we did was we instituted an increase so that if these trolls were going to keep doing this, they'd basically have to spend twice as many bits", thus "slowing them down".

[This "instituted change" now doubles the required money that the Troll Cheerers were, according to Phil, apparently getting for free anyway.]

This of course has been "incredibly effective". Before my terrible recording cut-off, Phil quickly leaps to amend this conclusion: Oh, by the way, this change hasn't effected the amount of Cheers he's been getting.

I mean, he's not wrong on the fact that most troll cheers are likely from Twitch Ads. Your account gets banned too fast to tie real bits to it.

This might actually be why Twitch likes him so much; his ads/viewers ratio could be off the charts.

It would be funny if he managed to actually negate the troll cheers and it led to Twitch dumping him because he's not generating those metrics anymore.

Man I just really hate bits, it’s so silly, just give the dude the money directly, why spend more to give the person you like less just for some silly little graphic on the screen. I just don’t get twitch culture

Because they're "Free". Amazon takes a decent haircut (I'm sure they charge advertisers closer to the rate that someone would pay cash for bits), the streamer gets a new market that wouldn't drop cash but thinks their time/labor is worthless, and the only one who suffers is the exceptional individual who spends 20 minutes babysitting "interactive ads" to earn a whole dollar in bits.

... right, but alot of them aren't spending anything at all, beyond about 30 seconds to watch an ad. So a few minutes of time to get a buck worth of bits.

They're also nice for tossing to streamers you're visiting, but maybe don't like enough to go through the whole Paypal donation system. A two click system is way easier. Real fans will typically be patrons or tip directly.

Someone asked if jedi should allow women Phil: ITS NOT REAL! WHO CARES

The interactive streamer absolutely will not answer any questions or have a discussion about completely innocent questions
Can't even ask or even have a simple discussion about fucking Stars Wars. STARS WARS! And he wonders why no tries to relate or like him as person at all.

Got curious thinking about it, so I averaged Phil's monthly Twitch income for every month since @EddyB43 started tracking tips. On average, Phil's gotten ~$5800 from Twitch through cheers, subs, and tips (estimated, obviously, is a mean of hugely varying amounts, and probably represents a lower bound for the actual amount). Phil's hoping for a miracle $16k to show up between now and April. Given that we're basically at December, that's about 5 months. So he's hoping to get an extra $3200 a month, meaning he wants to try and milk ~$9000 a month out of Twitch for the next 5 months. That would be an annual income of ~$108,000 just from Twitch.

Phil...buddy...that's not looking like a solid plan.

Yeah....that's not happening. While his cucks are willing throw down the money for him, they're never going to spend that much unless they go homeless or get a ass beating by their parents.

I fully expect Swaggins to drop 3-4k for Christmas so he can restore his legacy after the Tut debacle. He hasn't been donating much so I suspect he's been saving up since the summer. Phil might be able to goat Infinite55 and GrazyDream each into putting a couple thousand on a credit card (its so easy, man. I use credit cards all the time! You don't even have to pay them back right away) and give Phil a giant tip. If he can get a handful of his whales to "step up" and donate in that capacity, its possible.

Let's get a list going!

Waifus. Jedi. The ACK ACK laugh. The gout. The Subaru. Toxic negative shitfit babyman streams found on DSPGaming - it's only good wholesome fun at my streams! Kat's desire to be in the same room as me. Contemporary entertainment that is not a videogame. The victim complex. The addiction to alcohol, fast food, mobile games, social media and spending money I don't have on shit I really don't need.

All confirmed things that do no exist in the DSP Universe.

Things that are confirmed to actually exist by DSP:

Muh Legacy. Muh fans (close to 200 are actually authentic) Muh bills. Muh taxes. Muh Soulmate + secret mutual habbies. Behind the scenes charity work. Muh insurmountable debt.. oh wait I already said that? Videogames.. except the fictional worlds within them don't fucking exist either so don't dare ask me about those either. That's about it. Just fucking grow up guys seriously!

He really is no fun at all at any time except when he's whining. Passion for absolutely fuck all but pennies. :story:

How much did he get for his X-Mas Begathon last year? Didn't he raise like an additional 10k during the last #SaveTheHouse campaign?

And trollatronix decided to give dave one last bit of money to tell him to fuck off. Big brain over here
Putting on my Theo-Theory helmet™. I got 1 message out of Dave's behavior which I assumed for a while.

He tries to play dumb. This fucker knows Tevin keeps the restreams. If he looks ignorant and not knowing, hammering down the lie "He keeps no restreams so you really can't report him, this is all wishful thinking *hint hint*" then he can't be accounted for any reports, he tries to stay on save ground as these reports would have nothing to do with him. He has to ignore the cheers with the hot information or else he would "suddenly" be aware of it, and then his future pile of lies and intentional ignorance would have no foundation. Tervin has to go down!

He knows people would see the archive when they fall for his report wish. So what do you think they will do, Dave?
  • DSP was simply wrong, he's just human, a moment of weakness. Let's report Tevin because you CAN do it. Master will be pleased.
  • Wait, DSP was wrong. Clearly wrong. Why has he lied to us? What else is a lie?
Is it worth it, Dave? Slandering Tevin and feeding a gullible audience with easy to dismantle lies? What a great idea to establish trust, you piece of shit. What exactly does he think the outcome will be? He acts like he knows for a fact, acts like he informed himself, then repeating false and damaging information. Does he really think the picture he tries to paint, of the guy who is wrong informed and making this wrong information popular, has any positive merit? No, at the end of the day he looks like an idiot.
Does he think because Tevin is an evil detractor it's fine to use immoral methods? Does he know the story of the boy who cried wolf? If there was ever any prove this guy is a notorious liar, this is it.

This guy really acts on impulse without thinking and then keeps stuck on his story because he's real and never makes mistakes.

He really needs no money, he really does not, to pay the bills.
