Yeah, his dressing is how I would wrap a uterine prolapse for transport. I cant think of any other use for it. The best thing about phil is his proof always makes his lies less believable.

So with this we can basically tell either Phil bought or stole bandages and gauze, and did the bandaging himself (the catheter is probably a drinking straw), or he's in the hospital because he ODed on OTC laxatives and pills like a dipshit.

To agree with many of the posters before me, there's no way this is legit. The dressing and catheter is super suspicious anyway, and looks like something he did himself with spare supplies... but I'm no expert on dressings.
However I can say that no competent doctor would have allowed Phil to get this far. I'm not sure of the specifics in Phil's state, but in most states practicing medical professionals are investigated from time to time to make sure they're establishing basic quality of care, not violating the MPA, and not over-prescribing meds and the like. Even a minor complaint against the doctor could throw a case like this front-and-center of the state licensing board.
A competent medical professional would be afraid of losing their license to a review board because of the clear and obvious signs of mental instability Phil shows with even a single glance. Allowing him to proceed with a dangerous procedure (that he's not paying for himself) would almost certainly be a sign of gross negligence.

From what I've read up on Dugi, he's been working hard at establishing himself as a leading surgeon in GRS and wants OHSU to become one of the biggest names in gender procedures. I doubt he is going to fuck all of that up doing surgery on a mentally retarded man.

Yup. Besides, there's literally hundreds of other ways for Phil to get admitted to the hospital for some attention.
Laxatives are the favorite so far, because it just seems so classically Phil, but he just as easily could have shoved something up his ass that needed to be removed, or gone in for hernia or hemorrhoid surgery. Or it could have been a routine procedure that was scheduled months in advance.

He posted pictures of a pretty bad staph infection around a month ago and I wouldn't put it past Phil to intentionally not treat it in order to score hospital selfies for his ruse cruise.

Ehh, there wasn't a consensus among tattoo enthusiasts that looked at the pics or had artists look at the pics of an infection. There were at least two that thought the artist went too deep and that spuds was picking at the scabs making it worse. Plus a selfie posted on the 23rd shows the tattoo to be healed and normal looking for one of Phil's scribblings.

You don't need to be tapered off opiates if you've only been on them for a few days post-surgery, even if you've been on fairly high doses.
He's also at the point where they'll be trying to get him out of bed and mobilise him, so he got the whole "awake for 29 hours" and "resting" thing reversed.

Hemorrhoid surgery seems possible. He did put a photo up a few weeks back that indicated he was using cream for an itchy bum.

I get the definite impression that he’s really pissed off about the fact that every post he makes further exposes his lies. I think that’s what his list of demands was about - a frustrated, impotent, autistic temper tantrum.
In his head, he imagined that he'd post all this stuff and we'd be absolutely dumbfounded and commit mass suicide. Then he'd be declared the Queen of Troontown, Greta and Nina would adopt him and enough pitybux would rain down for an entire fleet of tugboats. He's absolutely furious that we're not sticking to his script.
