Real talk here, but when have any of Phil's lies worked? Show me just one of his schemes that actually fooled anyone. He's like a child who makes up a big lie, then keeps adding to it and making it bigger because he thinks it will help make people believe, but just results in making the lie more and more obvious. But Phil keeps on trying (and failing miserably).
To be fair, if one did work we wouldn't know about it, because it worked. The thing seems to be that his lies are so blatant, and he works so hard on them, but he's simply incapable of being convincing.
Also, to believe a lie, there has to be some trust that the person involved could be telling the truth. And there's fucking none of that with Phil, because why would there be?
If scams count there was one when he scammed 18 and under Trans / Gay youth services for 12+ months and he got blackballed from every LGBT service in the Greater Portland Area (that also may have been the impetus for his first name change).
But in general you are right, Phil isn't mentally able to perform a long con without a lot of planning (i.e. the countdown board) and even then he fucks it up in major ways and like any child with arts and crafts he liked making He had to show it off to everyone.
Phils best least visible lies are small ones that anyone could slip in to day to day life like if your boss asked you "Where have you been?" and you say "The bog" but you where out having a fag with the new girl who is kinda fit (one I was exposed to today) or saying to your wife / husband etc "
I'm going to be home a little late because of work" but your getting a last minute birthday present, nipping out with the lads for cheeky pint not exactly harmful lies and at worst are distortions of the truth but not an out right edditing of the truth for your own ego like Phils bigger lies.
The best example of this is the "Kiwi" patrol videos that he's done - most of them he was already out and bored or specifically left the house to avoid a druken torren or simply that he was bored, if he said the middle one he'd have gained some real sympathy from us (not for long but got some genuine advice), and with the other two he could have shit taked and we both could have had fun, but no he had to make it part of his bigger mission because his current obessions consume his mind.
I think at this point, if monkey ass ever told the truth, he would probably have a gran Mal seizure or a stroke because it would shock his nervous system so bad.
To be honest if you said this a year ago I would have believed you, however I do think it's now getting to a worrying point where Phil isn't sure where his lies end and he begins unless he pulls himself back soon things are only going to get weird... well weirder than they already are.
He's gearing up to declare himself the victor on this one and have it be over and done with. He only got one person to donate to his youcaring in the last 4 months. He had stopped updating it more than two weeks before the surgery date and he has only posted the initial hospital selfie on it since. He ordered some otc aftercare supplies for a hatchet wound off amazon and is going home, or at least off bed rest, today despite the fact that his last selfie looks like it was in a completely different place than the others and maybe not even in a hospital. Philthy will get a clean bill of health from Dr. Dugi, larp about some aftercare, and then everything will be wrapped up in a neat little bow.
He did specifically beg for various medical things beforehand like Gauze and dressings etc so I am willing to entertain that as the most likely scenario, and that's why so many medical kiwis are a little baffled by the dressing because he seems to have DIY'd it.
I do think he has been in a hospital even if only for a few hours most likely after he gave himself a medically induced shitting fest what I do think however is not much of his Pictures scream Hospital to me, I have admittedly only been to English hospitals but they are mostly bereft of Tiles due to the infection vector they can provide due to the porous nature of grout atleast not in places where they expect any discharge, then again this might be an older ward that hasnt been refurbished yet or used for overflow so it is low priority for such work and US hospitals may be differnet in this regard but I doubt it.
I don't think he is doing the pictures at home as I have the floor plans of the Flat of Phail and seen pictures of one in the same block identical to plan and the tiles don't look to be the same, and they don't seem to have the space for Phil to lie down in them with that much free space.
