Real talk now: how believable is this (discounting the fact that it's Phil)? Didn't he claim he was given a date for surgery something like twelve months ago, and the countdown has been since then? Is that in any way likely under any healthcare system in the USA? Even in the UK you're rarely given more than a couple of month's notice for major planned surgery because there's just no way to plan ahead like that - so many variables can change to make surgery unsuitable before the date.

As any surgery would depend on his getting his tater tots blasted with lasers (which he claims he's having done) to hairlessness, as well as him being a particular weight or lower, wouldn't the hospital wait until they could confirm this had been done before setting a surgery date? Why would any hospital set a surgery date for a subject that they didn't know was suitable?

Phil must think no-one else in the world has had a planned operation before.

He's already proven that he does no research into making his lies more believable. When he insisted his testicles had been removed he just assumed they cut up your nutsack and pluck them out but in reality you'd have scars above your groin area.

Doctor's tend to only plan major surgeries a month to two months ahead of time, smaller procedures are only usually a couple of weeks away and pre-op can change so drastically in one day, we have to plan carefully depending on the surgery type.

TL;DR: he's either gonna pay out of pocket for this shit and go to a cleaver house to get it done or he is like said before, in a giant fucking lie.

Bingo. I've never seen any surgical procedures scheduled that far out, for all the reasons you gave.

He's not really that obese, so I'm not sure if he would have any weight restrictions. They may possibly want him at a goal weight, as this is pretty major surgery and he needs to be in decent health. He will start to have regular clinic appointments in the months and weeks leading up to the procedure. If he's not meeting his goal weight, they could possibly delay the procedure until he gets down some.

Orchiectomy can be done several ways, depending on the reason it's being done. The incision can be made in the inguinal canal, but generally that's done for testicular cancer. Most commonly the incision is made along the scrotal suture line, so that the scarring is basically hidden.

All valid points except for the part where he still totally has his testicles. It's a dead horse at this point but it's still the most obvious flaw in his lies; Phil is filthy. There's no respectable doctor alive that'll do a surgical procedure on anyone that so blatantly proves his inability to properly take care of themself.

For this type of surgery, weight is a key thing. Along with cutting certain vices. High carbs need to be cut back, along with certain sugars as to make sure you don't get infections after the fact. As... The urinary tract will be particularly sensitive for awhile, amongst other factors.

And this is key. They need to make sure there's no underlying infections in the area, amongst other things. A simple fever spike or odd white count could delay it further until it's taken care of. Hence my other point.
 
I don't doubt for a second that Phil is under the delusion that, even though he's not getting it done in the first place, this surgery means he'll get a magical, pristine fully fuctional vagina where in reality it'd be a festering pus filled wound.

Like his face.
