Two weeks seems like a long time for a single, simple tresspassing charge.

Is he on some kind of psych hold? Or maybe some old charges/warrants that caught up with him? Did Tommy shiv someone in the chow-line with a toothbrush or molest a C.O or something?

There has to be more going on than just the tresspassing charge. Spending ANY nights locked up, over a single, petty charge like that seems weird. (don't cops usually just bail you, with a future court date, for small shit like that? Even with priors)

Or just agree to a 72 hour hold. If you agree to the hold the cards are in your hands to get out in 72 hours or at most a week unless you exhibit signs of being an actual danger to yourself or others.

I'm of the opinion that Tom knows deep down that the whole "Hoffman Group" is a joke but it gives him someone to talk to and it "trolls him the way he wants to to be trolled."

The whole CIA deep state conspiracy is the same way. If you point out the obvious flaws in his logic he just gets all mad rather then try to refute them.

I dunno. Between brain rot from smoking bad weed and eating trash and the mental degradation that goes with age, I can see Tom being easily crazy enough to try that with healthcare professionals.
