Okay so XSO is dead...time to move on right..to DramaSO.
My experience has been mixed, first off I was enjoying the easier life with the solar panels cash and they went ahead and nerfed it, apparently everyone loved it, which is weird because on XSO any mention of a nerf and everyone would go off with their heads and usually I would too. I don't like the nerfing on the solar panels personally.
They have an object that you can put money on and it gives out an aura for free green needs for 1h, in theory it sounds great, in practice the competitive try hards are already making it the meta to have free green needs 24/7, which will just become a thing when people are rich enough, this gives me PTSD from playing on SN when they had free green frozen needs for 6 months and you literally didn't have to play the game or do anything, you'd just sit there.
Onto more dramatic events, they have been modifying people's lots with a gay flag using floors and whilst I'm not anti gay, admins editing people's lots is just abuse of power, it could have been any other edit, it's still abuse of power. Some people are not happy about it, but they're afraid to say anything because they don't wanna be branded as anti gay and be banned...not quite the atmosphere you'd want on a server, but perhaps this is their agenda. When asked about it the admin replied with "best we offer are narratives".
Lastly the server has been going down repeatedly and everyone is getting error 23, which persists even when you try to relog, your sim is stuck until you ask them to resolve it, again this is true SN PTSD levels, because they still have issues with that error, as I post this the server has gone down without any notice or admin response. It has now happened over 5 times.
