I swear that the teammates are actually more useful in this version because I've noticed them landing the killing blow on Star Wolf members way more often than my experience on 64. I'm not sure if that means they steal your points, but the Great Fox's supporting fire on Area 6 actually show it giving you the points so it might be a quality of life feature throughout the game. I managed to get the Sector Z medal without any resets, it'd be great if they don't steal your points anymore. But on the negative side I swear they also take damage wayyyy faster, when usually keeping them alive was never that difficult to me on 64
Slippy is a WAY better character in the remake than in 64, feels more like an endearing autist than an annoying little brother, a little bit of depth does a lot even if its just retreading the same ground. Katt and Bill are also given shit to do which is a nice.

In my playthroughs Peppy is the one that's always always in trouble instead of Slippy. I was close to unlocking expert mode within just three playthroughs but he was at too low health at Area 6 so he kept dying and I couldn't get the medals for there or Venom 2. (which has a separate medal from Venom 1 this time around) I did unlock Expert Mode after a fourth run but I'm not in a hurry to do a run in that mode, it was always a pain in the ass for me on 64

can't wait for the next game where Pigma's drunk off his ass at a convention while Slippy recommends a show called Aviation Lookback while dismissing Star Fox VS Forces of Evil as overrated
I can't wait for the scene where he rubs a dog named joe's nipples inappropriately in the public restroom sparking joe's schizo arc

I'm not a dubfag so who gives a shit. I listened to a few snippets here or there and his performance was really wooden.
Putting the faggot actor aside, I personally just prefer the cheesy and campy voice acting from the N64 original more tbh. It has nothing to do with nostalgia but more so the tone of it all. I mean, it's about animals shooting other animals in space after all.

Wasn't the Mario2 movie using a different, non-woke actor for Fox? Why use another for the remake that's meant to promote the damn franchise?

It's been confirmed a woketard have been doing the voice for Fox. Hiring woketards will not end well for Nintendo.

*except is totally fine with being addressed as He so is just an attention whore looking for asspats

Granted I do think his voice as Fox was pretty solid, just like how Mick is a retard but he gave a great performance as Pigma

I fucked up my sleep schedule by trying to work on shit for a few hours and then looked up something to see if it's still any good and there's not only so much dialogue cut from the boss fight but the voice acting is actual dogshit

Somehow worse than what they did to the conductor. His opening line is delivered in a way that makes no fucking sense. where the fuck is the charisma. where the fuck is " "it's time to try our new weapon!" after "don't party just yet"? It's just a fucking complete non sequitir in the remake before he starts saying unrelated generic shit that more fits the dude that goes "i've underestimated you!" in the original in both voice and demeanor.

Once again, compare.

I hate LA gaming voice oligarchy so much it's unreal and I do not agree ont he pigma thing cause he just sounds like a guy and not int he good way. it's just he's marginally better than the other ones surrounding him in a way that makes him sound less shit in comparison.

I’m more hyped for the scene where Wolf strips naked and has sex with me in his $40-a-night motel room
Did that happen with the wolf VA guy? Because the ricepirate incident was something that supposedly happened. People at first assumed it was just joe schizoing out but like the viziepop thing ending up being true in the long run about her basically just using joe and the other newgrounds guys and some other shit about the dude I can't help but fucking wonder

Are there any other good on-rails shooters in the style of Star Fox? I realized that I can't think of any.

I also think that the soundtrack for the SNES game blows 64 out of the water, but the latter had voice acting so the music wasn't quite as important. The only music I really like from 64 is the mission clear and the Star Wolf theme.

Holy shit are a bunch of you just sitting around trying to not have fun as hard as possible? The Star Fox release is among the worst I've ever seen for gamers proving that they don't deserve the time of day, let alone a decent video game.

This remake is fun as fuck. A bunch of you are wet farts.

Played the battle mode with my kids on gameshare. It’s surprising fun. I can imagine having a good time with people that know what they’re doing. I haven’t tried online yet but if there are only three levels that are mode locked then I hope they’ll add more of course they won’t.

I did an XYZ route ending at Venom 2 to see the credits and it was good. I don’t like that they made James’ appearance at the end less ambiguous than the original with the reverb effect on his voice. The ending scenes were fine. I like that they made the reason for their quick departure after the ceremony be due to new contract offers rolling in instead of “GREAT FOX IS READY TO GO” from Rob and then the crew suddenly leaving.

After playing through X again and seeing the boss fight, I have to say that 4chan should never be trusted lol. They framed the intro sequence for the boss to be this quipy exchange between Fox and Falco where it’s the “He’s right behind me, isn’t he?” bit when it wasn’t. Falco says something like “Look out from behind you!” After that, the boss comes into view, prompting Fox and to say something like “I guess this is the secret weapon, huh?” Definitely not what it was made out to be.

I cannot understand why people like this game so much.
The only good StarFox game was StarFox Adventures.
Adventures is only better than Command. Even Zero is better because it’s an actual Star Fox game and not a Rareware game skinwalking as a Zelda game.

Sin and Punishment is pretty good.
