So what's the strategy for the garbage bag and the snowcone?

Garbodor: Dedicated spikes setter (both regular and toxic). Otherwise you can play it defensively (it has the HP/Def/SpDef to pull it off) or offensively (it's physical attack stat is really good). Aftermath is the prefferd ability for both though

Vanilluxe: Blizzard spammer with its Snow Warning ability. Only problem is that it doesn't have a lot of other coverage moves, so you're stuck with Freeze-Dry for water types that wall you. It got worse when Hidden Power was axed.

I still don't know how people tolerate this franchise after one of the most commonly used moves was taken away. I can understand the argument that this forced some Pokemon to specialize in certain roles and use other moves, but more often than not it provided new roles to Pokemon that might otherwise not have had counters and allowed them to fight back, not to mention added mindgames in what kind of Hidden Power you had to counter what threat. Not that it matters, the new powercreep is so retarded it makes Gen 4/5/6 compared to older generations look conservative.

It will never happen, we were lucky we got Fire Red/Leaf Green. I doubt we'll get Hoenn on Switch.

I don't care if there are references to connectivity between the FR/LG and RSE internally in the games' code. That isn't what already existed in the games ROMs originally. That's all just future proofing just in case they change their minds.

Got my preorder in for the 30th set. Got a UPC, booster bundle, ETB and the ditto collection.
If the set looks shit overall I'm just gonna flip the UPC like there is no downside of ordering one given how stupid the after market is going to be on it. ETB is just going on my shelf with my other ones and I like the Ditto card so I'll open that.

Still a few other sites yet to drop preorders but they get botted to all fuck so not really expecting anything else unless I somehow get retail.
