Of all the people who demand that games have to be played a single way to be enjoyed (like Undertale, deltarune doesn't count because it ends up doing that itself), Pokefags really are a special breed when it comes to how allergic they are to any kind of documentation for their fangames. Despite having some more robust systems under the hood, its the most cookiecutter JRPG system you can think of, but a lot of these recent decomp overhauls end up changing a lot about the games than expected with added shit...and they refuse to give direct answers on what they do most of the time. Its usually either "play the game to find out" or "talk to this set of NPCs to get everything", all in the name of "reliving that childhood nostalgia of playing a Pokemon game for the first time and being surprised at what you see."
They come up with the most bullshit excuses to get away with their schadenfreude because they are just like what I say: they hate freedom of choice. They don't want you to have the choice to use or not use a guide to find something you really want. They want you to do homework in some cases since sometimes they can be really convoluted and think that any normal gamer would want to do things themselves, all for the sake of nostalgia pandering....or rather, their thinly-veiled understanding of what made those games special. Not to mention loving to see people suffer like its a pass time.
