Also another really expensive board game you may actually remember, Dark Tower. The most memorable thing about it was that Orson Welles starred in the commercial for it. They notoriously break down quite easily. Working go for about 500. Not working go for about 200.
Just buy the newer version of this game. I had it and I played it maybe 30 times. It's a fun game, especially playing with all the lights out.

I recently decided to add up the value of my physical games collection. To my surprise, the most expensive game that I have - the price of which currently trumps any of my consoles, even a CIB Gamecube I have - is Pokemon Colosseum. For context, I got this game like 9 years ago, secondhand, for $30. Even then I only paid that much because I never got to beat it when I was a kid. Fast forward to now and a CIB copy of it goes for around $150 on average on Ebay. My assumption is that some retards made videos about the game and that drove the price up, I was getting recommended Colosseum videos out of nowhere for a while - but the game isn't even really that good. This is why I bootleg games when I can, the markets are fucking stupid.Wyświetl załącznik 6479228
The Dogs in Love trilogy has a better plot, characters and narrative than the original storyline, and is voice acted. It's the SAO abridged of shitty pokemon localizations.

So I came across this one a ways back, and I keep checking it to see if it's real:

(Direct link - I can't archive it for some reason)

So far, indications are that it sadly is.

The worst thing is that it's "white" chocolate: that is, milk solids and emulsifier. Not a single milligram of cacao to be found. If someone told me they had a thousand dollar chocolate bar, I'd expect nothing shy of cacao taken from God's own personal supply grown in the Garden of Eden, not... this. Whatever this is. The wrapping likely cost more than the ingredients did, and the original RRP was £50!

Just to add something else, i found someone selling a CIB copy of Skies of Arcadia for the GC for 10 bucks years ago, it had everything, even the GC information white insert and i think Nintendo Power insert. Everything was pristine. One of the best buys i've ever had on eBay.

This reminds me of the listing for an n64 zelda game I think i brought up in here or somewhere else I don't have the screengrab of anymore. The entire cartridge was fucking destroyed basically, and it's description was like "fell off a shelf, minor damage. works!". It was missing the entire fucking top and left side of the cart and whatever was left was hanging on for dear life by the metal interior sheet thing that holds the chip in place. It unironically looked like it had been smashed with a hammer several times angry game reviewer style.
