I’ve been holding this one in for months, but the more I look into his behavior, the more obvious it becomes that Wilbur Soot is just Diesel 10, repackaged for mentally ill Zoomers who think a man playing guitar is "deep." I’ve unironically been thinking about the similarities for awhile and compiled some things if anybody cares to read. Diesel 10 thinks he’s above steam engines. Wilbur thinks he's above his friends, above his fans and above the very genre he milked to get popular. Constantly dunking on content creation. Another one I pieced together is Diesel 10 lashes out and acts like a villain because he wasn’t “respected.” Constantly sabotages himself and blames the audience. They’re both aggressive narcissists with fans who glaze way too much. This one is kind of weird, if you aren’t aware of the locomotives function but Diesel 10 has a literal mechanical arm to do his work. Wilbur has a battalion of teenage stans who will go nuclear on Twitter anytime someone points out he’s just an egotist and abuser. He doesn't say anything directly, but the implication is always there. Not even kidding.

And a major theme of his solo music is talking about what an abusive piece of shit he is and how terrible he is to the people in his life. I would believe that he is mentally ill, but I also believe that he  knows he hurt people and is either trying to save face or is in some sort of denial about it due to emotional immaturity (I think it's probably the latter, maybe a bit of both). In retrospect, he's a fucking weird dude - I recall circa 2020 him calling a 16 year old his "best friend" (verbatim) and that this 16 year old (Tommyinnit) was the only reason he got out of bed and over to his computer, it was extremely obvious he made this teenager feel responsible for his mental health. The sort of person to act like this probably wasn't made to feel loved, accepted, and cared for enough by his parents and probably broader community as well (known that his parents lived separately and he slept on the floor at his dad's place with his dog, and was socially excluded from his peers as a kid). Someone with this sort of old psychological wound from not feeling "loved enough" can end up being very self-centered and display classic traits of borderline, or at least narc-y traits that can lead to abuse. They act like self-centered, immature, demanding, entitled children that happened to have grown up into abusive adults because that's what they are. They want to feel powerful over others because they were made to feel powerless, they want to demand (sex, power, codependent emotional support, validation, etc.) because they were made to feel powerless, unimportant, and unloved, and mistakenly believe that they can feel "loved "enough"" if everyone else loves them, even if they don't love themselves. The sad thing is that on an instinctual level, children understand that if they are not loved and accepted by their community they  die, due to still running tribal "caveman" software, so insecure and emotionally immature adults can do all sorts of crazy fucking mental gymnastics motivated by what seems to be that same part of the brain that handles "basic survival instincts". If denial makes him feel like he'll be accepted by his community or loved, then it's not very surprising he'd want to do that. In the very least, feeling very focused on one's  own well-being (a desire to be loved and accepted) and emotions can, by my experience with abusive and very emotionally immature people, make someone less able to have empathy and understand other people's emotions properly. To people like this, it is  all about them and how the people who refused to be controlled by them and spoke up about the abuse made  them feel.

Hope he stays off the Internet and does the emotional healing he so obviously needs to do.

I once had the dude who repeatedly sexually abused me reach out to me because he was (paraphrasing, but only slightly: ) tired of feeling bad [for being a serial sexual abuser of so many women] and wanted me to make him feel better. Abuser logic is so fucking stupid. It's so absurd it's almost laughable, if their behaviour weren't so abhorrent.

That could be a source of more info and actually confirm the screenshots, because as much as I believe that Minecraft youtubers are probably all guilty, that Skeppy grooming doc doesn't have a lot of proof. While this isn't really an inconsistency, it's kind of odd.


I don't get the point of adding someone on Discord, which is a website Skeppy has been known to use, and then contacting them on Telegram. To be completely fair, this could have been grooming and he wanted a platform that deleted messages.

The other girl claimed they dated in May of 2024 but was a moderator of InvadedLands since they were 15. If we do the math, November of 2023, 18, then she started doing work in 2020.

I checked the InvadedLands staff page archives and confirmed that she was a mod in July of 2021.
