Im learning new things all time with it, I just found last week you can animate with it, but ya I didn't know you can do that, make it alot easier has im constantly click layer toggle view one at a time to find what layer im lookin for and project im doing has 40 layers and shit a nightmare.
thats why you name them and color code them for easier navigation

To be clear, these are just suggestions. I don't want to hijack your picture. So feel free to flush my ideas down the dumper and do whatever you want.

almost done by the way

Sorry to double post, but I think I figured out to animate a bit in Krita, also another project inspired of feeling, I found old photo of me in my dad work shop, and trying to capture what I think he felt during that time, it rough draft of where I am planning on with scene,

I'm not sure if that what you meant, all week I was trying to figure out to add animation to it, but I think I screwed myself because at some point I flattened image.
I dont think you lost depth here
But if you want you can blur the edges just a bit to show the distance

Oh man thats an awesome shot
And animation looks very cool
I tried to do some myself like a month ago but in my autistic fashion i bit more than i could chew and in the end put it on the shelf.

Anyway im doing new drawing, this time on paper
The idea is a gnome memory recreator that is working in his stump workshop trying to capture the moment of the hedgehog trying to drink the reflection of the moon in the puddle
So far im not quite sure about the expression of the gnome. I tried to show him focused but so far he looks a bit angry?
Am i overthinking it or did i need to do some changes?

Thanks, hopefully it turns out that good in end, decided to ink it, instead of coloring it, change up things for bit, and for animation, I watched dude on Youtube do the start, I just added worm bird thingy, I thought it be little fun to end it on that.

He actually looks bored to me, but I guess focused could be that, I think it eye brows that doing it.

im curious who are your influences? Like artists you enjoy, your style very intriguing to me to be honest
no one really in particular.
I do have a degree in architecture, and where I'm from they still teach you to do all your drawings and technical sketches by hand, including hatching. I guess my autism just kind of clicked with that.
I also really love old medieval illustrations.

We had about two years of academic drawing classes, but honestly most of what I learned came from doodling in my notebooks during lectures whenever I got bored. and then that sort of evolved into this weird half-comic, half-illustration style.

How is architecture? I always wanted to do it, or do graphic design stuff, but never was good enough to get into any decent uni's here and probably best has I avoided hefty costs, but I was very curious because it look like very cool style and I wanted to figure out how you came to it, and who inspired it.

Debating if I should keep the warmer colors with shadows, vs just going with the white page to bring out highlighted areas, I think the more yellish color gives more emotional impact. Also I decided to avoided getting to detailed with the cans, I did one with bud light logo and thought it was bit to distracting and didn't really fit in to the more cartoonish feel.

No idea tbh.
Despite having a degree, I never actually worked as an architect because there simply weren't any jobs.
So I ended up becoming a construction engineer instead.
As for inspiration, the biggest one is probably Terry Pratchett's Discworld and its silly fantasy world.
But sometimes it's a game or even a random song.
For this drawing specifically, I was trying to capture the vibe of the Moomin cartoons, but the actual idea came from a stupid song that somehow snuck into my recommended list called "maybe I'm cringe, but you're evil and that's worse."
its in russian but it's rather silly

Go with the warmer colors. It gives it a nice sepia feel which goes well with the theme of a nostalgic childhood picture. The clear separation between light and shadow also makes it easier to visually parse.
