The Background of Peters and Plaintiff
TL;DR: Peters was helping Mendoza with social media. Peters paid for an Uber to bring her to his house, where he allegedly intoxicated her past the point of being able to consent, then had sex with her. He then had sex with her while she was asleep the next morning, then sent her away on an Uber.- At all times relevant to this complaint, Mendoza was under 18. She is currently 18
- Beginning at age 16, Mendoza attempted to gain a social media presence in order to obtain sponsorships to support herself. As a part of this, Mendoza adopted the name "Alorah Ziva"
- Around May 2025, when Mendoza was 16, Peters paid Mendoza $1,000 to film videos. Peters assisted with filming and scripting, saying he wanted Mendoza to be the female face for looksmaxing
- After four videos, Peters offered to pay for an Uber to bring Mendoza to Cape Cod from Massachusetts. Mendoza accepted, believing that meeting Peters would help her online presence.
- The Uber took Mendoza to Peters' place of residence (the court doc says his parents' house, which I think is incorrect. I'm pretty sure it was his grandma's house). His mom and grandma were there. With Peters' mom's knowledge, both Mendoza and Peters were served alcohol. Both parties are under the age of 21.
- Peters brought Mendoza to his room where she was served more alcohol. Braden then had sex with her while she was intoxicated to the point where she could not consent. The next morning, Mendoza awoke to Peters penetrating her, again without her consent.
- After having sex with her, Peters sent her off in an Uber. She did not see him for another six months.
The Live Streamed Crime Committed on the Plaintiff
TL;DR: In November, Mendoza meets up with Peters. Peters brings her to his home and streams with her. Peters, with implied medical authority, injects Mendoza with Aqualyx live on stream. Peters messes up and perforates her cheek. Peters also suggests that methamphetamine was added to the mixture. Peters began a campaign to discredit her in early 2026, which resulted in Mendoza losing sponsorships. Mendoza believes that this is in anticipation of her asserting claims about this incident.Archive of the injection, as clipped by the Live Stream Fails subreddit:
