John has claimed that he will be driving his campaign car and pulling a float of tards for the Braintree Parade two Saturdays from now. That should be plenty of time to deploy an operative to this event and watch John not show up to it.

I hope someone videos this event. I can't wait for children to start crying all along the route when they see a 7 foot tall ogress in a dress.
 
So is John actually flaunting his Porsche to ingratiate himself with the voters of District 8? I'm sure they will be very impressed by what a Man of the People John is with a car he just bought, cash down, for more than many of them spent on their houses.

Nah, it wouldn't be a rematch since the original challenge was either the Prius or the RWV against that fucking stupid Honda bike Wu paraded around - you know, the one with the idiotic eyelashes on the lights.

Should also be noteworthy how that bike has virtually vanished, despite Flu claiming to have been an avid bike racer (and why Jace challenged Flu to a street race in the first place). Since Flu doesn't sell anything (though a barely ridden sportbike like that one would probably have a good resale price), I suspect 'REDLINE' is sitting forgotten under a tarp in the basement.

For the purposes of a neighborhood parade at low speed, I think even a Porsche could manage - what we don't know is the weight and size of the thing being towed and who is driving, the latter is important because if it is Flu then the chances of a crash at low speed are honestly 50/50.

I’m sure it’s porsche #1 that he already crashed or possibly Frank’s shit charger. Also, who has a campaign car for a campaign that hasn’t done anything?

Does a Porsche even have a trailer hitch? If John is using the Porsche, does that he's going to have a tow package installed? Do they even offer a tow package for those? Hopefully they just try and hook it to the bumper and rip it off.

There are aftermarket hitches you can buy though it's not recommended, especially if it's towing a float. No way his car would be able to handle that well and he's just going to cause more damage to the car.
 
We know John reads this board. Cue squealing on Twitter about 'receiving credible death threats' etc etc.

At least he won't have to dress up for the carnival. I'm sure everyone will be fascinated to see the 7-foot ogre in a dress. It's about time the tradition of sideshow freaks was resurrected.

I mean it really depends on the car itself. If it doesn't have a trailer hitch for it anywhere then that alone is already a big problem since its pretty damn hard (but not impossible) to tow a trailers without a trailers hitch. That's not even accounting for torque which is more useful and flat out more important for towing things. That's not to say sports cars have weak torque but just not nearly as much as a diesel truck which is more suited for towing since the torque output is exponentially greater than that of a sports car and won't cause as much strain on a truck when compared to a sports car which isn't designed to haul shit. In this case his is a Porsche, yes? Lets go ahead and assume its of the boxer model, which garners around 200 to 320 lb-ft of torque, when compared to a ford f250 (2019) which gets 440 to 940 lb-ft of torque. So if it is the Porsche boxer then that car is gonna have trouble pulling the trailer depending on the dimensions and weight, that's if it even has a trailer hitch
