The winning moment was when we learned that Funimation rejected one of the most lenient settlement offers ever. Just delete the old tweet and stop talking about Vic. If that had actually been accepted and the terms leaked it would have pissed off ISWV big time.

I think we already knew about the harlots being chummy just days before stabbing him in the back, but it's nice to hear it from Vic.

They touched on Vic moving to Dallas for a permanent position at Funimation. I think they could have hit that point a little harder, or maybe that's TMI.
I thought one of the most disgusting things was Sabat's two-faced nature. Telling Vic he's going to bat for him while trying to replace him, and then being chummy and playing golf with him while at the same time, texting another VA that he was a pedophile.

Not just that but it sounds like they didn't even counter offer up that "$50K" or any legal cost, they just straight went to no and that was final. How is Vic supposed to know what Funi wants if they dont do a counter offer. But instead they just straight up shot it down.

Nope. An interesting tidbit to come out of this is that Funimation claimed in their court filings that their tweets about Vic were not meant to cast a shadow over his character or interfere with his future work. So as part of settlement talks Vic said he would drop the case against Funi if they just deleted the tweet about him and promised not to hinder his career.

They actually had the brass tacks to refuse that. Meaning they want to follow him around and ruin his career.

You know, I'd imagine that that settlement thing would be something Vic would save for the courts to nail Funimation.

I think people are overblowing the director thing. Assuming director is just shorthand for ADR director, and not some new kind of director, Vic wouldn't have any particular power over at Funi.

An ADR director gets assigned to localize a show, and while he would have overall creative control over it, it's just for that show. If one of the writers tried to insert a cringey political line, he could tell them to knock it the fuck off, because he's the director. But if another writer in another show wrote an equally stupid line Vic couldn't exert any kind of power, since he's not directing that particular show.

More than any kind of real power, the Funi clique just couldn't bear the thought of seeing Vic every day, and possibly being nice to him in the event he directed the big new show of the month/season/year.
Regardless, I don't think that it was the pressure but the opportunity that let to them jumping Vic. Over 10 years of them hating on him, if cancel culture happened earlier it would have let to them doing that exact same thing they did in 2019. I don't think people thought about this, but these people are at their limit and all they need is a trigger to get them to flip out and do something crazy, that and the perfect political climate so they don't suffer any serious repercussions. Looking at how Vic was gonna get the Director position, regardless of how much people he would get, him moving ahead in his career during clown world was the perfect conditions for them to act.

There's one thing that warmed my heart in the chat. Looks like Vic still has friends even though they can't risk being seen with him right now. And he understands. Heaven have to give him a VIP section in the pearly gates.
If your public-figure friends won't dare to openly express said friendship, to what extent are they really your friends?

My thoughts on the stream:

I think we should all be pleasantly surprised by how deep into the case this thing actually got. Seemed to me that Nick was tryin' a softball approach but Vic was just spittin' straight fire, without seemingly compromising the case. That was awesome. That being said, I'm actually shocked by the lack of activity I'm seein' 'round these parts. I honestly thought we'd see an explosion similar to when we got the depos, and that was BEFORE it was clear they were actually delving into the case.

Honestly (here at least) most of this was known but it's entirely different hearing it from Vic and hearing his take on the situation.

The only thing this reinforced for me was that Vic presented himself better than anyone else (especially the lawyers) presented his case and that's sad to me. But...despite that, Nick came into his life at a time where Vic needed a tangible reminder that people believe in him still and facilitated a platform for that to happen.

Besides that, Vic should be speaking up and speaking often. He's got a talent there with charisma and eloquence, so he shouldn't be silent or beat around the bush with it.

Overall, I'm happy I came back to see Weeb Wars reacting to this. I was busy during the interview but I caught up with it on my down time. Hope everyone here has been doing well and staying safe.

It's hard to remember what's new and what's not.

One thing that was surprising to hear is how insecure Vic is. When you look at how he deals and channels his insecurity into something good is just another example on how much better he is compared to them and separate the strong from the weak and the brave from the cowardly. If someone is still so insecure and still goes out and does what he does, well that is something that is worth respect.

Thanks fren. That's a pretty incredible amount for one night. I used to think bringing home 400$ after a night of waiting tables was great. Can't imagine what it feels like to look at over 6k after four hours of work.

One of the funniest things to me is that every time he has a guest on he gets so many super chats with specific questions or comments to that guest, then the guest always leaves before he reads them. The last half of these guest streams is always Nick just sitting there alone with his tired voice reading all these chats meant for Vic. One of the most entertaining parts of the show TBH. I imagine all the sperg superchatters getting mad as he sits alone and reads their heartfelt letters to Vic, beautiful schadenfreude. And no I don't feel bad. It happens every time they should know by now.

It just means they should superchat their questions earlier, see the man at a convention or email Vic at: victhewop@aol.com

Weeb Mr. Rogers would probably get around to answering their questions for free at some point when he can.

I do hope Vic can return to Nick's show one day on a lighter show topic.

The Interview with Vic Mignogna recieved $6,344 in superchats. It is Nick's highest earning livestream. In a distance second place is part one of Vic's deposition at $3,519.

Nick has found the ultimate weeaboo grift: Get all of Vic's fat, lonely fangirls' money by having their hero on his show directly. They'll throw in more questions than could be ask in a week in the vain hope that maybe Vic-senpai will notice them. He might even have to bump up the fee to $30 (just to prevent too many questions, of course). Huge untapped market, as I'm sure the ones that did give any money to Vic did it through the GFM rather than paying Nick a dime.
Damn I don't miss. Shoutouts to all the homosexuals paying real money to ask retarded questions about chicks with dicks.

The fact that Vic wouldn't mind going back to being friends with Monica and Jamie after all of this is proof to me that they're totally being manipulated into going against Vic. Edwards is just a liar, but I def believe Monica especially is being abused into this. We all know Ron is an abusive man, the fact he forced himself into Funimation, the fact Monica went from being obese to appearing underweight. She obviously has issues that Ron is taking advantage of.

Unless I see serious or massive proof that they were manipulated or even forced into it, I think Vic is a fool for thinking about forgiving them. I understand his viewpoint but giving them any kind of mercy will only mark Vic as an idiot that would allow vipers to bite him anytime of the day. It would make nearly everyone lost the genuine respect they have for him because there are some lines you don't cross and they gleefully crossed it the moment they could hurt him the most. The fact that no one is willing to fight back as far as I can tell goes to show how brainwashed so many of the people are in the cliques and many that stay silent really don't deserve respect unless they are waiting for the same opportunity to screw them over as they did Vic.

Mercy and forgiveness should only be given to those that want or can repent and change, not to people that see it as a means to get a free pass for doing messed up shit.
