Nick has found the ultimate weeaboo grift: Get all of Vic's fat, lonely fangirls' money by having their hero on his show directly. They'll throw in more questions than could be ask in a week in the vain hope that maybe Vic-senpai will notice them. He might even have to bump up the fee to $30 (just to prevent too many questions, of course). Huge untapped market, as I'm sure the ones that did give any money to Vic did it through the GFM rather than paying Nick a dime. Looking forward to the 45 minute interview where Vic won't really say anything interesting besides "I didn't do anything wrong, this was a difficult time, thanks for being there for me Nick, I'm not gay," interspersed with and followed by 5 hours of superchat reads.

At some point, Rekieta and Mignogna had a telephone conversation in which Rekieta referred Vic to a family friend of his, Texas lawyer Ty Beard.
It's important to point out that before/around this time, Vic already planned on a lawsuit against the worst offenders, but he turned down the two lawyers he approached because he didn't think they would deal with his situation fast enough. This is contrary to the recurring piece of false information is that he was turned down because his lawsuit would fail.

I doubt Ty Beard was best for the job given he made an ass of himself every time it came to actually lay some legal smackdown instead of just getting smashed on Nick's show. But Nick was an awesome PR guy for Vic, so anytime you see "why didn't Vic hire a PR firm?" well, he did, it was Nick Rekieta, and Nick worked for free explaining the situation and making fat jokes about Vic's opponents. Seems to have worked too since he pushed a lot of people into the "Vic definitely isn't guilty" camp.

Yeah, good catch. I'll update my post with that.

Anyway, I guess now we'll finally get to know Vic's answer to the Futa Question.

I'm not being ironic I think Vic should tear the fuck out of Nick for profiting so much off his misfortune.
>Vic comes on the show for the first time
>nick tries to act all buddy buddy with him
>Vic stops him, calls him a jerk, and tells he’s done as much damage to his life as anyone else has by dragging this out and making it public
>tells nick he’s not pursuing the case any more and that he doesn’t want to hear from him ever again
>leaves nick sitting there stunned on stream

I can dream can’t I?

You both realize Nick has talked to Vic before, AND he has been extremely friendly to him in a previous Anime Matsuri despite what he has been doing, right? Because hoping this to be a Zack Snyder/G&G 2.0 is kinda out of line.

Was this before or after he got proven to be a sex offender because he took Nick's advice?

Ron and Monica already downvoted
Who is the third seether?

It won't happen, but you're right.
He should also angrily give him back the $300,000 Nick raised for him. What a total victim. How about let Vic himself decide who he thinks has fucked him over instead of acting like a goddamn retard?
I hope Vic isn't going to drop the appeal or announce a settlement like the Waid v. Meyer case.

God damn it's a shitshow that the appeal has taken so long. I'm still amazed that Beard managed to fuck up so badly it got thrown out.
Anyone who says dumb shit like this is either trolling or didn't pay the least bit of attention to what was going on, or both, and just wants to rile up a bunch of easily trolled weebs.
It was pointed out that only the woman made the reviews, but the man was somehow sued because she used "we". Chupp thought that was clear and convincing evidence, the 2DCOA didn't.
Chupp is ludicrously incompetent and has been the subject of multiple mandamus writs because he was fucking up a case so badly the appeals court had to stop what he was doing so they'd have something to rule on, because he was going to mangle the case so badly it couldn't even be fixed on appeal. He's a fucking retard.

Looks like we got un-featured, boys. Oh well. On to the next tempest in a teapot.

Isn't it the case that married couples can be sued as one "unit?" I seem to remember hearing something like this and particularly in reference to the Vic case and MoRon being sued as two separate people since they're not married yet. Can't recall the details, though.

Not sure. I know married couples can't be compelled to testify against each other (spousal privilege).

I don't think they're considering a single entity when considering liability for a tort. If the wife causes a fifty car pileup and turns someone into a quadriplegic, you can't sue the husband if he doesn't have anything to do with the accident.

Maybe not, but in community property states, debts incurred after the marriage are against the community, so whether or not you can sue the husband, he's still equally on the hook, although depending on the technicalities of the state, it might not be possible to collect against him from assets that predate the marriage.

Not that it's relevant to this case, since Monica has had the sense not to marry that simpering little marmot of a cuck, but Texas is a community property state.

Yearly reminder Nick started covering the Lolsuit because he was a big fan of the Dick Show and that during the Simpspiracy Arc, was an avid defender of Dick and still associates with him and has appeared on his show after the Cuties stuff.

Also, soon to be weekly reminder that Nick is a swinger/cuckold and lets drexel fuck his wife.

Daily reminder that he got blown the fuck out in a debate with PPP so thoroughly he was compelled to consneed, https://youtube.com/watch?v=z61c6P5Jw6o:4305
What kind of man let's a guy who is constantly bragging about fucking other men's wives, and says that it's okay, "they just can't know", just hang out with his wife alone all the time? How can anyone justify to themselves that Nick is not a cuck? Especailly after his "Camgirl Stream" those clothes and socks were DEFINITELY not his wife's.

Also taking bets that Vic doesn't show again, and that Nick is just trying to do everything he can to build up excitement before these appeals get dropped soon

A few minutes after Nick Rekieta sends Ron Toye the link to the Google Hangouts with Vic.

Right but Nick isn't NICK around Vic. Nick is jolly laughing appropriate Nick. ZERO chance Nick goes on one of his famous tirades calling women fat or whatever the kids love him for.
