Vic is another victim of the "listen and believe" ideology.
It is interesting how minorities, in this case, women in the US, can't shut the fuck up about how they are mistreated in their own country, how society tends to undervalue them, to treat them as second grade citizens.

Yet, the reality is, society, public opinion even the judicial system, tend to favors women a lot more than men.
Vic had no chance to defend himself, people quickly jumped on him with no evidence, he was blacklisted, all because he is a man. People believe in his "victims" for no other reason but because they are women. For such "unfair" society towards women, it looks like women are significantly more protected and got a lot more biased treatment than men.

I think people are overblowing the director thing. Assuming director is just shorthand for ADR director, and not some new kind of director, Vic wouldn't have any particular power over at Funi.

An ADR director gets assigned to localize a show, and while he would have overall creative control over it, it's just for that show. If one of the writers tried to insert a cringey political line, he could tell them to knock it the fuck off, because he's the director. But if another writer in another show wrote an equally stupid line Vic couldn't exert any kind of power, since he's not directing that particular show.

More than any kind of real power, the Funi clique just couldn't bear the thought of seeing Vic every day, and possibly being nice to him in the event he directed the big new show of the month/season/year.

I was losing hope for justice to be done, let's see where this leads. All that was confirmed from this mess is that Vic gets tons of pussy and Funi is Sony-owned trash.

The way I've always seen from the lawsuit is less about a tangible cash payout, but more a rehabilitation of his name, which arguably is happening. Vic will never work in major voice acting again, but he's already getting invited back to cons and securing a way for him to make money off of the 20 years he's put into his career.
