No he's reliant on fucking up IRL to bring in new viewers. Every pop for the past few years has been due to one of his personal failures. Nobody gives a shit about games.

People liked to see his failures at pressing buttons, but now with his autistic gatekeeping and wheelchair aid the funniest parts are his IRL failures.
Because of his ego and attempts at hiding fail, DSP became a lolcow with a slow pace, but when he slips, the julay that comes from his more recent failure is extremely high.

There are streamers that literally continue to grow despite streaming Ocarina of Time every day, yet DSP and his 12 year legacy is reliant on new games to bring viewers.

I love that even DSP thinks that it's the games that bring the money, not the streamer.

Just take DarkviperAU as an example. The guy just streams GTA V speedruns, a game from 2013, over and over again, but got a huge following because he is entertaining. Sure, he plays more games now, but if you're a legit good streamer, it doesn't matter that much.

B. He likes games that are "Push Button: Get Win" so the microwave is the only way he gets to win when he prepares delicious, custom, one-of-a-kind, gourmet meals from a box scratch. Although, I can only imagine if/when the circuit trips and he goes to nuke up last night's Taco Bell (they brought the potatoes back, you know that it's now a staple food in the pigpen) and it doesn't work... "I'M PRESSING BUTTONS!" Then he has to call his parents to troubleshoot.

I played Guilty Gear Strive yesterday and started with the training missions (and I realize I am too old for this). In one training mission you learn the Gatling attack and as a hint it says literally "You can't mash the buttons. Find the rythm." No wonder he refuses to play the game

Now that the mods aren't able to fill their sad power fantasy and ban accounts all day as they lurk in chat they all jump at the chance to ban anyone. His chat is so fucking gatekeeped now that nobody speaks unless it's about pleb shit like food or his cat, and there are absolutely no new faces because they get instantly nuked for violating any of the 8,000 rules which they aren't aware of.

It's just an echo chamber for Phil and his longest time viewers who have so little going on in life they can spend all day watching streamers. He could make his streams private and just open to this small group and nothing would change for him since they're the only ones stupid or lonely enough to keep giving him money.

Its been joked about but Dave needs a Fans Only. He can share his gout sauce recipe for crazy money along with photos of his paypigs @sshole's that he has prolapsed. OIC must be some goatse type photo then.

Remember when the pre-streams were going to be shorter. He dosent even have bits and the leaderboard to shoutout anymore, yet he keeps blowing hot air. I'd rather watch a 4 hour day podcast, with games at night. I know most would disagree, but I believe the value of goldust would triple.

Dave has gone back and forth so much I'm sure even he doesn't even know what he wants. It's hard to listen to him talk but even harder to watch his gameplay. It's especially bad if you have a connection to the game because he screws up everything. If he did an "extended" prestream you are right, goldust would be everywhere.

I'm gonna go all in and say DSP won't get his green screen, laptop, computer, xbox and gaming sofa this year. When he does a how the year 2021 has been so far, around Thanksgiving and or Christmas he will blame Twitch for not being able to upgrade like hes promised and thus the cycle continues for 2022.

I fully agree. Plus Dave is still salty at twitch and never think that's going away. It's the new YT. One issue with YT and I'm sure he'll take it out on YT bot on twitter.

I've plugged him before, and will probably keep doing it because it's relevant. Look at Perry Caravello's stream. He has been streaming for a little over a year and is already dwarfing DSPs numbers. All he does is sit in front of his camera, respond to donation messages, and take cash offers to do stupid shit.

You know why it works? Because it's fucking entertaining. He appreciates his fans and the donations (even when they are just being assholes to set him off). He listens to what his audience wants, and he actually interacts with them.

Perry is one of the least talented people I've ever encountered, and his stream still manages to be one of the funniest things I've ever found.

A brain damaged 57-year-old washed-up actor/comedian has out done Phil "professional streamer" Burnell in literally every possible way in 1/10th of the time. I still have a hard time understanding how Phil can fail so incredibly hard.

Edit: Thanks @Dread Pirate Retard too. I'm not the greatest with numbers but was able to tell he made a very good living as a new "detractor". The overall waste is jaw dropping....a lotta peepul have said this but the man doesn't have any cool stuff(not a reason either) and had so much debt. He is going to be on track to repeat himself...like history.
