Remember the Tea Party Rebellion and how they had to elect a Tea Party Caucus to congress? I guess it's easy to forget, because they're all just Republicans now. Same deal.

The only way Trump could cross the Rubicon (it's not going to happen) is if the GOP in a lot of states secede. He needs politicians not generals. The military will not fight for or against Trump they will be a non factor. It doesn't matter if the top brass are pozzed and love the idea of "managed decline" they can do the enforcing of that themselves as the foot soldier isn't pointing a gun at a US citizen period. The second civil war would never be militaristic.

I've seen you make this point a number of times and don't realise that this cuts both ways.

One thing that Trump supporters need to understand is that literally everyone is against them in one way or another.
