WISC case has made it to oral arguments. it's not about fraud but the state elections board not following state law. one of the issues revolves around Democracy in the Park and whether that followed the state law, if DitP is an early vote and if it could be considered an alternative clerk office. another issue was clerks filling out the witness address. Now this issue made a judge or two upset because the defendant lawyers were walking around the subject of whether or not the law requires an address and it has to be a valid address. Def says the law doesn't state an address belonging to the witness had to be written. judge asked if that was the case why were clerks filling it in? Def lawyer, like bidenbros here, took the "appeal to authority" approach saying the state election board makes the laws through their guidance, a judge said this wasn't the case with the law; that the guidance of the election board is the proper understanding of the statutes.

I'll throw my hat into the ring. Standing is an entirely reasonable test as to whether to take a case or not. Non injured parties shouldn't be able to sue for things which a) could not have harmed them or b) have not and will not harm them and c) for which there could not be reasonable remedy. Most of it is obvious and should really only get murky in a few situations. As a legal test it has been raped to death this election cycle. Really you should be able to seek injunction before the harm is committed and to sue after the harm has been committed. Again this is obvious.
Before) If you build that toxic sewage plant next to my farm you pollute the area rendering my crops and thus my livelihood ruined. Don't build that plant bitch.
After) The toxic sewage plant has fucked my life up. I want remedy.
So what Barnes was saying in his tweet although not technically correct I believe is correct in sentiment. The POTUS, GOP and some random citizens of the state should clearly have standing regarding electoral procedure before, during and after the election. Now maybe a higher legal mind than mine could come with a reason to deny before or deny after, but it takes a truly high as a kite mind to come up with both.
These election cases have been decided enitirely politically (LDO), they are just hiding behind standing (90%) to say we don't want to decide, make precedent or offer remedy.
The POTUS is in the right and the founding fathers would be turning in their graves, but the judiciary along with SCOTUS are on board with this as hiding behind standing for the Texas claim was some weak ass sauce.

Let me ask you this: how many states since the election have put forward, even once, bills that tighten voter ID laws, mandate a voter ID, or anything? How many are taking actual action versus just posturing for a base that has been grifted to the tune of over $200 million since the election?
Why did people think the courts, which has been the branch most hostile to Trump, would bail him out? Why did people not knock on doors, call on phones, and be poll watchers for Trump instead of spending all that time talking about Hunter Biden and how many yard signs they saw on the way to the Piggly Wiggly?
Lots of doomer shit but not a lot of acceptance of the reality that Trump delivered almost nothing he promised, ran a campaign that Romney would have run, and let himself get outwitted by a campaign headed up by a guy who doesn’t know what day of the week it is. Not a lot of introspection going on.
