I'm quite certain if America cared about Venezuelan oil, then the Neocons & Demhawks would have found a reason to invade already.
What do you think that farce of a “coup” was? It looks bad to invade your own side of the hemisphere; even though it doesn’t mean much today, the Monroe Doctrine still guides a lot of how relations are handled in Central and South America.

The coup failed because it was fake and gay. As much as people made fun of Maduro for being a bus driver, it’s even sadder that a bus driver outwitted the glow in the darks that tried to organize the coup.

“Hey Europe we gonna pull out our troops so we can kill ourselves, k?”

No joke, I mentioned on this very thread the Rota base was having weird movements since the election. And the Rota base is joint spanish/american, so...

Your president might've already said that to our leaders. It sure would explain why Sanchez is suddently being an even bigger faggot than usual.

I understand moving to some extent; but I will never understand why any self-respecting right-winger would ever want to move to western/central Europe.
Like I can understand "Hey Brazil seems nice this time of year" or "Fuck it, Thailand, here I come"; but why someone want to move out of the frying pan of western developed "1st world" globohomo into the fucking smouldering embers at the heart of the fire is beyond me.
Beats me but i've seen a LOT, theres also a lot of those romanticizing easter europe, asia as based and redpilled wonderlands and dream of moving there and get a trad russian waifu. What i think is the biggest irony is to be a right winger staunchinly against immigration and them becoming an immigrant. If you asked 20 years ago the average venezuelan would tell you peruvians are backward indios and they will never move there because Venezuela numbah one and also fuck peruvian immigrants that came to venezuela, but now Peru has one of the biggest venezuelan exodus there. Talk is cheap, chovinism is a paper tiger.

Afghanistan was an intentional trap for the US, tho. Taliban knew exactly what they were doing, just the Bear Trap part 2: American Infidel Boogaloo
Taliban: Hey America
America: Sup fags
Taliban: Have you heard of the Graveyard of Kings?
America: Is that some muslim thing
Taliban: The Great Game?
America: Football?
Taliban: K thought so, see you next fall
America: I don’t think of you literally ever

Biden called them bastards even though his son was in the military and trump has done a lot for the VA.
Biden's son was barely in the military, he got stationed stateside til they kicked him out for doing coke while not being a SEAL

They're probably talking about Russia or another Eastern European country.

GOP; "Let's ignore our largest voter base ever to pander to the Democrats and Biden"
Trump Supporters: *Abandon the party as a whole and don't vote for anyone*
GOP:

Girl, just because Trumpers are the loudest, doesn't mean they're the biggest base the GOP has.

I really get the idea that the majority of Trumpers only started paying attention to politics in 2016.

Federal government pays the military's pension, Generals are all establishment and many open Obama yesmen, Trump's America First policy will mean fewer private sector MIC jobs for military officers leaving the service (you think the Capitol is a revolving door of congressmen and lobbyists? try the Pentagon), and overall the consensus is Trump is a reactionary who is refusing to accept the "managed decline" of the next century that will lead to a new geopolitical realignment that is somehow sunshine and roses.

The only thing following Trump across the Rubicon gets you is a court marshal right now. Allen West could be prosecuted soon for his secession talk. The federal government will not just let the military or Texas slip from their fingers and unleash open rebellion in the United States. Examples will be made, I can promise you that.

The Gulf Wars had very little to do with oil or the petrodollar. It was firstly about preventing the creation of an Arab regional power that would destabilize the region (this has failed completely in both goals, but I guess it's sort of a success in original intent as Saddam isn't head of that superpower), and secondly about muh "muh Great Game" on the NATO side and "muh warm water ports" on the Russian side.
If America really cared about invading other countries for oil, they'd have done it in the 70's. Or the 90's, as the USSR's collapse would have been the perfect opportunity to balkanize Siberia to such an extent that Russia would be denied that oil money forever, and US proxies could control it instead.

The correlation between the USA and oil only makes sense if you think the Middle East has all of it, which they simply don't, and that we're running out of oil imminently, which isn't true either.
And no, the US doesn't care about private property being stolen in other countries either. See Cuban Revolution. They only care if such political upheavals seize US federal property, again see Cuban Revolution and Guantanamo Bay.

Venezuela has Cuba, Russia and even Iran sending advisors, materiel and aid. I should have mentioned this when I wrote the US has to carefully decide where to intervene. We have plenty of oil in the US alone. Venezuela is on the back burner and while Iran and Cuba are no match for the US Russia has nukes and the last thing anyone wants is a Caracas Missile Crisis in the 21st century. Why bother at this time?

Even if so, one group leaving as a support base can lead to demoralization of other groups. You don't have to be the biggest only create optics that the GOP shouldn't be trusted or is undermining the other support groups to possibly cause a reformation (doubtful as great as it would be) or loss of fatih (more likely option) and support.

What's even the end goal of "managed decline"? Genuinely being the kings over the ashes?
And honestly, they need go through with those plans for their own sake after talking all tough. The Left aren't screwing around anymore after all this, so flat out saying your state would secede with others is grounds for jailtime.
