Fox is way more reasoned and balanced. Here's the difference between Fox and the leftist broadcast/print media.

Fox's most important viewer, POTUS himself, rips the network on Twitter and they stay the course.
Nate Silver Pewter of all people complains on Twitter that a NYT headline is too deferential to Trump and they trip all over themselves to change it.

I love how people were quick to shift responsibility to Obama when they found out he was involved in those conditions, but when you point out that Trump could address those conditions, the response typically is: "No! We NEED them to stay like that! They're illegals REEEEE". Espeically when Trump has repealed a few Obama-era regulations.

Are you fine with the conditions or not? You can't just change gears like that.

I specified why are they in the CONDITIONS they are in? If Obama or somebody in his administration locked them in cages, that's fucked up. Depriving prisoners of hygiene or acceptable housing is messed up. Now that is established, if Trump wanted to repeal every Obama-era regulation, why not start by improving those conditions to make them acceptable for short stays?

I'm not particularly interested in blaming Trump for this situation. I want the situation itself fixed. Anyone focusing on blame over solutions is using those people as leverage. It's disgusting.

I also think it's disgusting to cheer for those conditions, or to claim that the imprisoned shouldn't get soap. That's using those people in a different way, but not a better one.

But just blaming Trump for it? Nothing is ever, ever that simple.

It's more they tried to undercut MSNBC by going super-super woke and steal the anti-Trump viewing audience only to find that all they got were casuals who fell for the "CNN is the only truly "balanced" news network" meme and left them high and dry when Mueller turned out to be a huge fucking lie and they realized CNN was bullshitting everything they were screeching in relations to Russiagate.

MSNBC has the woke audience already sewn up and was able to survive Russiagate exploding in their faces because their core audience are the types who will go to their graves thinking Russiagate was real and Trump schemed and blackmailed Mueller into refusing to give them what they wanted (IE explicitly calling Trump a traitor who needs to be impeached and then executed for said "treason"). The type of people who will watch MSNBC and treat it as the gospel and who still pine for the days of Olberman/Maddow on in prime time and who behave the same way the worst Fox News zombies behave.

CNN just got the casuals and moderates/swing voters who let themselves get social shamed/bullied into buying into the Russiagate lies. And once Russiagate was exposed as lies, they dropped CNN like an out of style dress.
