It’d be cool but I have no idea if they’ll really do blood. If they do the exact same scene again, maybe it’ll be black like the blood on Link in Breath of the Wild when he’s at Fort Hateno. I recently played through the Bottom of the Well and have doubts that they’ll have blood on the floors and walls in the remake, especially since they are going for a more photorealistic look. OoT N64 was lofi enough to get away with it but probably not now without bumping up to a T (or whatever CERO rates things in Japan). They should bring back Ganon's red blood in the demake (they never will).
They probably wont even add in hidden skills to decrease the dissonance to TP.
I expect the combat to be different than what it was on N64 (if my thoughts of this being a full remake rather than a graphics update is correct). If it’s left as is then I don’t see a point to porting TP’s skills. Even in TP, they didn’t really add anything to the game beyond being flashy. The tweaks need to come from enemies design and interactions more than anything. Not only would adding in TP combat (and beefing the standard enemies with more attacks/armored variants etc.) improve OOT's gameplay,
I think that they will try to move away from the timeline that they established with WW and TP and either make the links to the other games more ambiguous (like BotW) or develop a canon that reworks the continuity. Don’t expect them to try to retrofit the Gamecube Zelda games into OoT.if you're gonna remake a game, especially like FF7, why not try to make it work better with the games surrounding it? Maybe have hidden shit where skullkid mentions the giants from Majora, a secret ending if you die against Ganon which leads into the downfall timeline (as silly as the timeline branch is imo).
Unless they expand the scope of the game to be as large as BotW, I don’t see [field] cooking being a part of the game. Stamina will probably return since it’s practically a staple at this point (It’s been over 15 years since Skyward Sword) but the weapon mechanics from BotW I don’t think will carry over since the conceit of the mechanic was tied to the setting of that game. If they do durability again, it will likely be in a different form.Like they'll add in cooking and stamina and weapon breaking for retard reasons, maybe some extra story bits, but ultimately nothing truly interesting in the context of the larger narrative that OOT is clearly apart of.
I gotta disagree here. I don’t see what’s “creative” about fanwanking, which is what you’re essentially asking for here.In one way or another OOT leads into WW, Majora, ALTTP, and TP depending on the outcome, they should play into that, but I fear goytendo has lost that creative spark.
