Well, Ben certainly lives up to his nickname. When you defend yourself, the stats are absolutely not in your favor, aren’t they? I’ve heard that in the US more than half of pro se cases get thrown out on technicalities alone, and the rest of the process is such a nightmare that you’ll get raped even if you’re in the right.
He's not taking this seriously and does not actually care about winning or justice. He keeps putting himself in position like bait to try to get people to fuck with him and make him seem like the underdog over and over, and both BAM and the police fell right into it like fools. It's a grift for content, of course. All he had to do was have the process server (a real one, not a girl that seems to have actually been his friend given she was in his vids getting arrested and at the bowling alley with him) go to Josh's door without himself there. Then none of the shit afterwards would have happened. Not to mention the provable lies and illegal things he did in the initial video like the value of the legos, winning the court case, and 'legal' raffle which was not actually legal, and the bogus 'no trespassing me anymore' contract. I don't understand why anyone thinks this guy is any more credible than BAM to be honest.

I think BAM has proven themselves to be so uncredible and malignant that, at least for me, Ben's own credibility at this point doesn't even matter. But I agree that he's definitely choosing deliberate incompetence so that he continues to come off as an underdog and a fellow victim of BAM, rather than some rando that inserted himself into other people's conflict for content.

When the judge asked ”are you representing yourself in this case?”, Ben might have answered yes to the question ”are you representing yourself in this currently ongoing conference that we’re having right now?”. He’d be extremely stupid not to have any legal representation at all.

I think it was during his interview with the civil rights attorney, but he was saying until recently he didnt know what civil and criminal meant. A 30 year old man, not even having a basic understanding of the difference, is alarming. I dont see this ending well for him.
