From accounts I've read (an autobiography from a British fascist who himself fought in WW1 and like one other guy) it seems that most people did support the war initially, at least throughout Europe. I think part of the reason why bureaucrats and internationalists hate nationalism so much is because (in their eyes) that's what majorly contributed to both World Wars.
Yes and no. I would also argue that a lot of it is because the internationalists are descended from European royalty. So they never identified with the people they ruled and always saw them as interchangeable numbers on a spreadsheet and too stupid to know their best interests ™️. Nationalism in this context means a potential rebellion at worst and a headache at best.

Sometimes I'm amazed seeing such open contempt like this. I was aware of the general /pol/ opinions of Indians years back, but I never would have anticipated ridiculing and criticizing Indians to became a mainstream activity. Then again, so much of this stuff is like something straight from a cartoon.

nternationalists are descended from European royalty
and its no surprise considering the emperors of the three largest empires involved in the war were all grandchildren of Queen Victoria. Its hard to develop hard-line nationalist thoughts against your actual family that you write letters to, visit often and who gave you titles and lands in their kingdoms.

I've always thought that the only reason the British monarchy survived the war while the German and Russian monarchies were deposed , was that the British royals were not absolute monarchs (legally, but in practice loyalty to the monarch was so high among the public that what the ruler wanted usually happened) and had encouraged and supported a nationalist english/british identity.

Not going to lie, I never really believed the whole "war enthusiasm" thing being the leading cause of WW1.
There were several reasons for the war, the enthusiasm wasn't necessarily the leading cause.
So, I really, really, REALLY, have a hard time buying that anyone who wasn't retarded around the time of WW1 wanted to go to war that badly.
But that was my point, the fact that so many people enthusiastic for WWI were naive, educated, propagandized people the same way a high percentage of affluent, highly educated leftists today are so eager for an armed revolution while at the same time being totally clueless as to how horrible and dangerous that would be.

By the way here's some free advice to anybody who is thinking about getting a German Shepherd puppy: they turn into fucking velociraptors for about a year after their teeth come in. They will destroy everything in your house during that time unless you get them a TON of shit to chew on.
I have a german shepherd heavy mutt and I basically had to throw rawhide/collagen chews at her until her gums bled to get her to stop annihilating everything. One thing that ended up helping was rope toys. She wasn't interested at first but I started leaving them in my dirty clothes hamper for a bit and then she wouldn't leave them alone. I think she went through five or six of the really big rope toy at walmart, I think it's like 1.5"x24" rope, before she finally got out of her chewing phase. Way cheaper than the chews and definitely cheaper than endless shoes and whatever else she could get her paws on

A bit of it was war enthusiasm for some countries but at the same time World War 1 also happened because of a series of diplomatic miscalculations and treaties binding together the many countries involved. There was also the July Crisis where there were attempts to mediate the issue before it spiraled out of control but unfortunately those efforts failed which led to millions dying and a number of destroyed empires.
It didn't help that Wilhelm II was dumb, but this has very little to do with USPG2 unless we want to go into Woodrow Wilson using WWI to push all the commie police state shit in the federal government that we're still dealing with today.

Dude yes! I would get mine those giant fucking rawhide bones, the ones that are solid as a rock? It would look like she had pieces of paper where her bed was after a few weeks because she would annihilate the entire bone.
It's funny because nothing beats the feeling of every nigger being scared to death of you when you take your dog for a walk. I always forget that those things are cop dogs so the baboons have an unnatural fear of them. She's more racist than I am, too. If I see a groid coming my way while we're on a walk I have to wrap her leash around my elbow because I know she's going to lunge.

One of Reddit's cofounders made a great argument in favor of Trump's immigration policy:

He gets mad when someone says that reddit never existing would have been a good thing:

The world would have been better off without Reddit. If only she had been deported

It's also worth pointing out how many ingredients in a typical curry are not in fact Indian but were introduced by Western explorers and merchants. You know, like chillies. You can thank the Portuguese for those next time you eat a curry. (Not that I'm actually that fond of curry the older I get and the more I learn to appreciate properly cooked fresh food. The spices mostly just mask the taste in most curries)
Any meat in a Mexican dish that isn't human came from the Spanish.

I don't think he was dumb, he just was not cut out to be a absolute monarch. He'd have fared much better in a more ceremonial role like George V. He was also very insecure because of his withered arm.

His favorite hobby was chopping down trees. really a strange guy.

Why does her twelve-year-old daughter even know who Donald Trump is? Why is her twelve-year-old daughter so terrified of being raped? Why does her twelve-year-old daughter understand that a potential consequence of being raped is an unwanted pregnancy? Why does her twelve-year-old daughter know that unwanted pregnancies can be terminated via abortion? Why does her twelve-year-old daughter have any of this very specific -- almost niche -- combination of knowledge, factoid and fear in her mind?

Of course, this psychotic cunt is lying (like all politicians) and using her kid as a prop. It's unfortunate that she's a liberal, because it means we can never be 100% sure she's not actually telling the truth and accidentally revealing an even more horrible truth without speaking it aloud.
We had sex ed in middle school when i was a kid well over 250 years ago, and i live in a very rural area. i can't imagine what sort of weird shit they are teaching kids in that godforsaken state. That being said, she's 100 percent using her kid for a prop, even if it happened exactly like she said it is. Exploiting her child's feelings, sharing them to the world to score some sort of political point. Something you tell your mom as a little kid should never be used in that way. My daughter used to be terrified of butterflies, I'm not going to use that to go on some sort of butterfly genocide crusade!
