I'm gonna say something that will piss off the women in the chat. I don't think shock collars are inherently bad, especially for larger dogs. But to use the shock collar to keep the dog in frame for a twitch stream is really fucked up.
A shock collar, in their most “humane” use, is a device intended to punish a dog for barking, something a dog is literally supposed to do. You can train a dog to not bark constantly, but if the mere sound of barking bothers you, you shouldn’t get a dog. Not only that, shock collars react to any loud sound, I’ve seen videos where people get phone calls and it causes their dog’s collar to go off, and if another dog barks within range, your dog gets the zap.
But this isn’t just a shock collar, it’s a remote controlled shock collar, it’s the remote controlled ones which are used to force behavior. It’s no better than beating your dog for not performing, I knew a girl who had one of those on her dog, it got to the point where her reaching in her pocket caused the dog to flinch in fear.
And then you have this actual situation, where this spoiled ass fuck useless streamer who has no benefit to society, creates absolutely nothing, and is the clearest example of why people hate streamers, forcing his dog to lay in a bed in frame to make his stream cuter. That isn’t a pet, that’s a prop, and he’s forcing the dog to stay put when the dog walking off camera would not have ruined his stream in any way.
Then consider the fact that he was in the middle of a shitty rant attacking America because it doesn’t adhere to his Muslim communist fantasies, and he interrupted his rant to shock his dog for the sole crime of standing up.
