Not going to lie, I never really believed the whole "war enthusiasm" thing being the leading cause of WW1. To me, it was a pretty blatant lie to shove a "Nationalism Bad" message down the throats of children who don't know and don't care because it was a hundred years ago. I mean, we saw our modern day equivalent with Ukraine. Would people say "Yeah the US and NATO funded Ukraine's war because everyone really, really wanted to" in a hundred years? I mean, I believe they would but honestly as we all saw; majority of normal people didn't give two fucks about Ukraine and the side that did was leftists who were gaslit and manipulated into supporting current thing by a lying government propaganda campaign and was a purely manufactured sentiment. So, I really, really, REALLY, have a hard time buying that anyone who wasn't retarded around the time of WW1 wanted to go to war that badly.
