Don't quote me on this because I'm pretty sure I saw it in passing, but I'm pretty sure Cheebs PC was a prefab or he got the parts from his Discord and had it built and then delivered to him.

I don't know about fucking up his motherboard live, but he did do a PC building stream. The archive I found only seems to cover his usual "I'm so mature now guys" speech.


He also paid scalper prices for a 3080ti when it was new, and had to have his discord handhold him in regards to how much ram he needed.

Could be but the point is he's never actually made one. The most he's done is maybe added a card to it or upped the memory.

And yet he still thinks he can slide into the IT biz.

Tbh I'm also ignorant about how much computing power you need to stream, so maybe it's necessary for the 3-4 streams a year he does to his 3 viewers.

He doesn’t need that powerful of a GPU in any capacity. The only reasonable use case I can even think of would be to install SillyTavern so he can roleplay with an LLM locally without restriction. However, as has been mentioned countless times, he’s a moron and would never figure out how to get that set up.

Nobody needs a $2000 GPU unless they're running games that really need it without stuttering or they're doing things like video editing.

Chibi got it because it's top of the line and he thinks he needs it to be a successful streamer.

He doesn't. Maaaaybe if he was emulating some super new nintenshit, but he never has and seemingly spends more time streaming from actual nintendo hardware in the rare times he actually streams to his 3 viewers (all troons). He's the perfect example of MUST CONSOOOOOOME.

Speaking of, I know a few of you questioned where the fuck his donkey kong obsession came from recently and whether he's a poser or not. Look back in the thread, he didn't give a shit until his 2nd or 3rd Japan trip when the DK section of Nintendo world opened. He blew at least a grand on DK merch right after and everyone had a good laugh, especially his bank.

I think he's one of those guys who has to go big, even if there's no reason to. Either that or he's so easily lead he saw all the furore over the graphics cards scalpers and assumed that must be the card he needed to get because it was so coveted.

He's the kind of guy who walks into a car dealership to browse and walks back out with a $10k/month finance plan on a shitbox he didn't even test drive because he agreed to every single upgrade the salesman pushed on him.
