Branca lapping Nick is hilarious

When Nick disappeared Branca was at like 69k subs and started doing the political content Nick used to do and now he has almost half the subs Nick does

Kurt makes up for that though, by being willing to shove hemorrhoid cream, right up his arse, whilst onscreen.
I thought that was pain rub on his lower back, wasn't it?

Look, I get it. Kurt can be cringe.

But one of the things this whole Rekieta experience has done for me is help differentiate between people that are merely cringe, and those who are absolute irredeemable pieces of garbage (like Nick).

For some people, Kiwifarms makes them more bitter towards humanity. For me, I think it's actually made me a bit more compassionate.

I'll roll my eyes at Kurt's antics at times, but I just don't have it in me to hate the man. Not after all of the other vile shit I've seen. Sorry.

All I remember is him yelling "OBJECT" all the time.
Which is what he tried in family court and got BTFO by the judge.
Kinda hurt his credibility a smidge.
That was almost certainly Barnes's influence.

Remember that Barnes was pissed at Mark Richards for booting him off the case.

And then Richards won. Proving that his strategy was correct.

I think Kurt's other issue here is that he's not a lawyer.

I mean, he technically is, but like, not really. He was a supervisory patent clerk with a law license.
However, his autistic level of knowledge of SCOTUS rulings is really valuable. I think Kurt does his best when he's reading SCOTUS rulings and arguments. I think in another life he would have made a half way decent constitutional lawyer.

oof.webp
:story: A whole 2,024 watching during the trial is rough. That must be rough coming from someone that used to only read $20 and up superchats.

This is the very essence of why Nick's law license is so important to him. He needs it for that aura of credibility, even if he has no idea what the hell he's talking about.

The reason he's not allowed to practice shows how little his commentary is worth. Why should anyone listen to law commentary from a guy who couldn't be bothered to do the barest minimum to keep up with the latest law developments?

That is actually legal? They can tell you to get a better job if they think you are working a job that pays less than they believe you are capable of earning, or the judge was just shit talking someone?
Depending on the case yes. For instance, in a child support case if the court believe that you are unemployed or underemployed on purpose they can impute your wages and make the support calculations as if you were earning what you are capable of earning. I.E. if you are working a part time, minimum wage job but you have a college degree or other qualifications that you can use to make more money they will calculate support as if you were making that higher amount. The court can also order you to seek employment or better employment, and if you cannot show that you have at least been looking you can be held in contempt.

Nick now says if you say anything negative about his wife or kids you will get banned. Feel free to criticize him though he says (he doesn't mean this, you'll get banned for it too).
Obviously in response to talk in his chat of his 8 year old testing positive for coke. The thing is, when people bring that up, it is about Nick, not his kids. And he knows this. More typical Nick Logic™ from the lying cuck.

Watching Nick "I made you!" Rekieta crash and burn must be so satisfying.
Somewhat. At times I like being able to point and laugh but I also have to be honest and say it's sad to see because I witness it with my own clients and know where things are headed.

For his personal, his family's, sake I'd like to see him get into a better spot and space. I honestly want that for most people. The "Needs to get hit by a bus" list is pretty small, and I am not wasting space on it.

It's not good of me to be such an a-logging dick and I really need to focus on doing this thing I thoroughly enjoy, because it's been pretty fun so far. In the beginning, it didn't hurt to be associates with Nick. But I feel I've been able to do my own thing and build alot on my own.

Will I ever get to be as big as Nick? Not likely. Will I get to 100k? Maybe. I understand how I present and act like a sperg doesn't comport well with many audiences.

Yep. Can’t think of a soul who would mock the kids. This m’ladying of Nick’s is just an excuse for locking in chat as a hug box.

Free speech, y’all

Fascinating. Branca did get a boost.
The Nick boost is still real, the way it works has changed.

It used to be that people wanted to watch Nick and his panel cover cases, they would tune to RekietaLaw specifically and maybe wander off to subscribe to one of the panelists if they particularly enjoyed their commentary. Now however, any boost Nick can provide comes in the form of his subscribers fleeing to whoever is covering a case they care about, their mouths agape in horror as they stare at the notification that RekietaLaw is live, high off cleaning product fumes (why do you think the door is missing? easy access) and making awful jokes.
