Throw a heat pillow in the microwave and place that shit on your crotch, it does good when you don't have any painkillers on you.

I'm too lazy to do a search but Pepcid AC can stop emotional issues such as PMDD in their tracks. For some reason, the antihistamine and antiacid action calms down the emotions. Took it a few times when I thought I was going insane and it stopped the feelings.

Ibuprofen, heating pad, and drinking either hot tea or warm water with ginger helps me (thanks Chinese friends for that last tip). Unfortunately, none of those really help the emotional side effects, but you can at least help curb the physical pain.

My symptoms used to be bad until I got in shape and started lifting weights about 20 years ago.

If they are really bad, about 400-600mg ibuprofen, some chamomile tea, an ice back on my stomach and I'm good to go.

Pamprin, booze, and a bloody rare steak. If I need to be productive, then it's just pamprin and steak. Gotta have that iron.
My husband got some weird on-sale burgers once, and I wanted to die because I was on my period but I couldn't eat them... He got normal burger meat for me that night, because he's smart.

But I also put spinach in goddamn everything. Raw in salads, or shredded and blended in pasta.

When I can get it: dude, weed, lol

Otherwise: naproxen, tylenol, hot pads, try not to cry, cry a lot

Super painful periods suck. I loathe having a uterus -_-

Edit: I guess this post is more about menstrual cramps than it is PMS but I feel mentally like shit for days before the bleeding starts too, so I sympathize with you guys who get bad symptoms prior.
