Everything about him has been pure speculation since his first appearance. At this point my brain just outright rejects anything new about him. I need that memory in my brain for actually important things.

this character got ruined for me along with tenna because i used to browse 4chan threads and some deviants would just spam tenna and spamton softcore porn.
everytime i see either of them in game i am filled with disgust
 
So, I've seen some people talking about how the Spamton sweepstakes may have been Spamton trying to give away his wealth to get the Friends off of him.

Also a reminder: This is how it ends, which now makes sense.

I assume he's talking about Varik, or maybe Dr. Andonuts? If it's the latter then this guy needs to doubley kill himself since this dude lost his son and three of his friends when he sent them to go kill Giygas. Pretty sure that at the time where Spamton and Tenna were still together, the *real* Mike was also still around. This is supported by both Tenna saying that everything feels like playing pretend since (unknowingly referring to the imposters), and because Pippins Mike has no idea who Spamton is ("what other guy?"). So the three Mikes only came into the picture after Spamton left.

Moreover, I think Spamton signed a deal with the devil long before he met up with Tenna, and committed breach of contract by signing another contract with Tenna. The devil immediately caught wind of this, called the original deal off and sent his cat army after him.

One aspect that was part of the original deal with the devil were probably the Pipis. I see these eggs as having a dual use:

Firstly, they are attractive to be in possession of because they multiply endlessly and hence serve as an infinite source of nutrition, i.e. healing (and potentially to deal damage to enemies). Tenna turned them into food items after all, all using the one single Pipis he kept from Spamton.

Secondly however, they act as a mark. Being in possession of Pipis means that the cats will always be able to sniff you out if you cross the devil, and it's extremely hard to get rid of them because of their multiplication property (Noelle's blog post states as much). This also explains why it's treated like contraband, it is inherently dangerous to own it because of the cats.

Y'know, what really bothers me is that the same type of people to screech about Kris's pronouns and "them being heir own person with their own feelings" are also the ones to not give a flying fuck about said feelings by turbo-cucking him at the festival so that Susie and Noelle can have their hecking lesbian romance or whatever

Really shows that it's all just virtue signaling for the sake of it
