Undertale / Deltarune / Toby Fox Discussion

Flowers can have what are scientifically referred to as male or female reproductive organs, too, with both male and female flowers. So it's less gay if you just say Seth is a girl interested in Chadly.
It makes it ultra gay, because if you have a pollen allergy, it means you are choking to death of flower semen and honey is just flower precum collected by bugs.

It should be worth mentioning that NormalNPC, the guy who turns Onion into Takoyaki, is probably mimicing his last words in Chapter 4:
* Wait, don't. Wait... don't!!!
And do you know what else he says in Chapter 4?
* ... Wait. Wait, love.
That's Ramb's speech quirk.
>Kills Onion-san for getting close to the truth with the intent of helping Kris.
>Kills Ramb for trying to help Kris reach the truth.
HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS.

The text of that post:
after thinking about the chapter for a few days I think that maybe the 7 flowers might be a allegory for disabled people especially this set of dialogue made me relate to them a lot

as a 21 year old disabled guy who can't even take a shit on his own i have felt these exact same feelings before and have felt bad for my parents for my entire life

and I wanted to make this post to just say thank you toby fox for making me feel seen like I said I might be reaching and maybe this isn't intentional but still thank you
"I might be completely wrong and maybe this wasn't even the original intention but I'm a Reddit user and I need to validate my existence ASAP".

I think my favorite part about games like these that attract troons or genderspecials is how they find relatability in scenarios that operate in different rules from ours, literal la-la lands. How do they live without seeing the massive self-own that it is, is truly mindboggling.

I also did, out of curiosity, a search for the word "trans" in that subreddit and it's literally endless "This fictional characters says TRANS RIGHTS", it borderline makes me sad that these people exist like this.

Wouldn't it be postcum since it has been processed by the bees?
No no, precum as in a rough analogue for the fluid produced by the Cowper's glands, if penises needed something to attract bees with. The post-cum would be just the pollen bees store for nutrition, but you can also buy that from beekeepers.(prettty good, actually)

Also, not only male, female and flowers exist, depending on if they produce pollen or eggs(to be grown into seeds) but an entire second system, in which the individual plant brings male only, female only or mixed flowers. This is why some fruit trees need dedicated BVLLs as pollinators. Some trees go even beyond in degeneracy and have either male only or hermaphroditic individuals, making them incredibly fucking gay. And lets not even start on the ferns. There would be an entire garden of degeneracy for troons to harvest concepts from, if they knew anything about botany.

And this is part of why the chapter was a bit of a letdown to me. I wasn't expecting HUGE revelations, but i was expecting something new, that brought more to ponder on what we already have of the characters. And the lack of any of that makes the story feel even more weightless when it comes to it's stakes. Again, what has been said about stuff like the antagonists King, Queen and Tenna being "le misunderstood", and even how Berdly being too a-ok with Susie going out with Noelle and Kris thirdwheeling, despite declaring interest on going with all of them, and etc. It's part of why i really like the Evil Susie theory as it brings a bigger conflict to the story that isn't just "we gotta stop the Knight!".
Even if "Evil Susie" ends up being correct (though I consider it a given that Susie will never be evil, more like an unwilling antagonist that may become willing out of desperation) it still wouldn't retroactively fix chapter 5. This chapter should have really shown us scenes of the good times between the Dreemurs and the Holidays and not showing anything was a gigantic wasted opportunity.

That Dess is at the CORE of the story and we barely know fuck all of her is a huge problem from a narrative standpoint. I can't care about her if I don't know her and the later I meet her the less invested I'll be, doubly so if she's the knight. Would have also been a great way to fuck with speculation by showing Rudy using a bat for example and teaching Dess and the rest how to use it and other tidbits like that to muddle more the Knight's identity.

Somebody already suggested that the flowers should have just mirrored the Dreemurs and Holidays and they could have reenacted flashbacks of both families to integrate it into the dark world and let Susie and the player in on it in an organic way.
