Undertale / Deltarune / Toby Fox Discussion

No idea. Last we saw he was half-stone then dragged off by Mini Kris to god knows where.

He could be sitting in the bunker
He probably wasn't dragged off by the little krisnigger. It's a facsimile of the player, it makes no sense for it to have its own autonomy. Also the little rabbit bloke implies the mini-Kris walked by and possibly saw what happened (probably not the latter), not that the li'l kris was the one who did it.

I'd reckon it's Friend, the thing controlling friend, or Eram who kidnapped Ramb depending on who you think is what (if friend is its own mastermind sort of entity, if friend is just a mindless animal subservient to something else, if ERAM is an actual person or just the player avatar of friend/something else/whatever)

Once you spook Kris and Susie it just dawdles off and an NPC says it just saw "Kris" walk past after Ramb is now mysteriously gone.

Now if it's actually it's own entity or is simply controlled by Friend or something else I have no idea.

Are trannies that much cheaper to hire, compare to a normal dev who would follow your vision without deviations ?
41% chance you won't have to pay their salaries so yeah.

Yeah but mate if the rabbit saw the mini kris take Ramb then he wouldn't go "oh my god Kris that was so terrible what happened to ramb...wait didn't you already walk by?" (paraphrasing) he would go "STAY AWAY KRIS!" or "DON'T HURT ME!"

Nah I mean if it actually serves the story best is what matters the most. It would be pretty cool if Toby was able to trick most of the fanbase, though thats secondary to a good narrative.
The problem I have is none of this serves the story. You can’t have a good narrative if you spend half the time working against it, and the other half not working on it at all.

You can actually construct a narrative where that does work though
>Have a character intentionally trying to distract the characters or themselves
>Have a diegetic, in universe force that is altering the behaviour of the characters
either of those could work

I just wish I knew exactly how the development for this worked, if only to see how much the Troon Brigade actually influences.

I have no idea how much of the shit I dislike is actually Toby or his Captain Planet team of spastic retards he has working for him.
I'd say it's irrelevant at this point. The important part is we know it affected 5 and that 6 is mostly done, so very likely it will be as poor unless Toby takes the feedback to heart and redoes it and I very much doubt daddy Nintendo would like that one bit. And this is assuming Toby sees a problem that needs fixing with the crap his trannies shit out, maybe he loves it since he's brain has been rotted after years working with them.
Real talk: why the fuck would you let troons in on directly influencing your "aristic vision" in your own Magnum Opus if it's so imperative?

Stop letting them adding dumb shit into your game if it was your dream to make it in the first place
You are an autist that needs people to help him finish in a timely manner and all of your years being internet addicted have made you a horrible judge of character that recruits from circles that are into your likes/fetishes since it's the only people you know.

This shit is what makes me think if AI had come earlier, if Toby and Temmie just worked on this for 10 years without talking to a soul and just released the whole game together. The chapter format has ended up being INCREDIBLY detrimental.

I assume he's talking about Varik, or maybe Dr. Andonuts? If it's the latter then this guy needs to doubley kill himself since this dude lost his son and three of his friends when he sent them to go kill Giygas. But no, repressed faggotry is more important than losing your child, Helluva Boss tier faggot mindrape.
There's also the tiny fact that rather than just deal with his problems on his own, Dr. Andonuts is forcing his pain onto everyone else around him.

For those who haven't played or even heard of this hack, it essentially boils down to a man retreating into a private mental world of his own creation and (whether intentionally or not) releasing horribly warped creatures that go out and - crossing into other countries through inexplicable means - do nothing but cause chaos and ruin lives--and then he plays the victim when someone goes after him to stop it.

You know what? Maybe it is a spot-on representation of queer expression after all.

That’s the issue, though. Even if Toby is using Gaster for one of those things, revealing him in Chapter 7 just raises the question of why all the earlier hints existed instead of advancing the story. By that point, there’d also need to be a compelling reason for Gaster to spend so long manipulating events. If it’s all just an experiment to him, what is he actually trying to learn, and why did it require years’ worth of narrative detours?

Troons only care about spreading their degenerate mind virus and they would quite literally do it for free. See how all the reddit powerjannies and discord mods and activist types spend their every waking power spreading The Message. They only care about having power over another human, no matter how petty it is.
