I'm inclined to think that the house sale/purchase is really not definitive proof of a breakup. There's plenty of alternate explanations for that.

The BETTER question to ask ourselves is whether they were/are even "together" in the first place? Theirs has always been a really strange relationship, to say the least. Ron seems like the type of guy that will settle for anything, and Monica probably just wants an obedient simp. Doesn't seem like a very happy engagement. More like co-dependency.
 
While the reason for their separation on paper remains a mystery, I can confirm that he is still feeding her. Monica R., "Momo" to her friends, recently reviewed this trough on Yelp. Look closely and you'll notice a certain soy boy across from her.

I'm not surprised that those two idiots have a complete lack of commitment for anything other than being some of the worst human piles of trash to exist.

The new house is probably for Ron to live in while Monica is getting railed by her new bull.

I don't know if they're really split but it's too funny an idea to ever stop talking about. Hell, the most hilarious outcome would be to talk about their "breakup" so much that it 4chan-style becomes accepted as fact and people on the street constantly tell them "sorry about your breakup" or some shit like that.

If it comes back, it would be funny as hell if someone on Vic's team asked Ron about that and he angrily denies it.
Chupp being Chupp would probably find as a fact that they have broken up, and that only Ron is an independent contractor for funi now.
