On one side, I get it, but on the other, are you aware that this is kind of killing the idea of the Steam Machine, right? Only stupid and stupidly rich people will buy this.

The RAM crisis is shit, yes, but 750 bucks would already be too much (but barely acceptable) but over 1000? And for specs that dont even seem to justify it?

You can play Cyberpunk, GalCiv IV and Crysis just fine with a system like that. Gamers' expectations about visuals and fidelity are completely owned by marketers at this point.

Yeah, Steam sales are utter shite now because you can just go on a CD key price comparison site any day and find the game you want for the steam sale price or usually less.

I know there was a big panic a few years ago about peoples accounts getting banned for buying stuff like that but I don't think it was actually happening at all.
