VGShartz is also unreliable as all hell, and their numbers also pretty much always "coincidentally" favor playstation compared to the real numbers when they release. Their europe "estimations" are, I shit you not, taking one random guy's guesses for Spain's hardware sales based on Spain's physical software sales, and then "extrapolating" that to the entire continent. It is not uncommon at all for their "estimated" playstation sales to be nearly double what they actually were in reality for that period. Not even wikipedia will let you cite them as a source, and wikipedia allows the "estimates" from a random crypto scam blog that spun off a "video game analytics" service when NFT gaming crashed and burned, who openly state they have no actual sources and are just guessing, so imagine how bad it has to be that you're considered less trustworthy. Point is, in reality, it's even WORSE for sony.
