That's why they say it's not as if people are getting sick every day. And people die a lot from preventable illnesses and conditions (i.e., obesity and obesity-induced illnesses and conditions). Sometimes, it boils down to personal responsibility. Am I saying all healthcare systems are perfect? No. But I am saying many illnesses are actually pretty preventable in a way except for some.
