I HATE when text descriptions insert opinions. The attractiveness of the characters isn't part of the gag, so even if you intended them to be attractive (they're not, you failed) you don't need to include it in the description! Just be straightforward, goddamn it. Stop telling blind people what to think.

While in general I encourage all creators to have a passion project and pitch it to the point of delusion--after all, never know who might see potential in your scribblings--I have to wonder who's going to go for Yassified Jhonen Vasquez art in this day and age.
Sadly, short of forcing them to log off and touch grass without having an emotional hugbox to retreat to at the end of the day, their emotional growth will always be stunted.
This is literally how it is supposed to work in child psychology. You assure the children that unconditional love and safety is available and they are free to explore the world on their terms, there is always a position of absolute security to return. This ensures that the kid will be curious, want to explore the world and will have the emotional control to integrate those experiences through play. This helps them build correct cognitive models of the world, "how things work" and have correct expectations, no wishful thinking, no undue pathological optimism but no catastrophizing either. Of course, this is for toddlers and kindergartners but it really shows how stunted these womanchildren are, stuck in completely degenerate, useless, deleterious patterns of behavior. Funny for how all their trauma dumping and internet therapy talk, and psychologizing shit they never actually just sit down and self-reflect for a moment, instead of using the DSM-V to label themselves with cool abbreviations. They literally just wish for their parents love and attention even as thirtysomething weirdo quirk chunguses.

Suppose then that these people didn't have that in their early childhood, and that's why they're like this? It's a cliche for these types to claim their parents were abusive, and generally on this site we find out they're lying or misinterpreting things for attention (because they're mentally ill,) but surely some of them are being sincere, even if they're mentally ill and/or annoying.
Of course, the SJW element of this thread colors what we see through a very specific 2010s liberal American political bend. If it was just bad art made by mentally ill weirdos, it'd just be the DeviantArt Horrors thread. Instead, we're looking at art that's inherently political, so we're seeing the political beliefs of mentally ill artists. These people come from a place of fundamental insecurity, they believe love and safety has to be earned, that they're never truly safe, and that something will/wants to hurt them. That's why when you combine it with liberal politics, and otherwise decent values like "if I can help others, I should help others," you get people making whiny vent comics on Instagram about how Donald Trump is Hitler and black transwomen need to be protected at all costs. They are giving the love and safety they wish they had to people they believe need it/deserve it most (the most oppressed,) earning love and safety by toeing the party line and only having approved thoughts so nobody can cast them out, and earning their place by either being/becoming oppressed (collecting labels and identities) or being useful by attacking the right people (like Trump, or conservatives.)
But fundamentally, this is still the thing:
They've put themselves in this place where they're purple giraffes and speak the right language and make the right art and spend all their time and effort "for the cause" to make themselves better people (i.e; more deserving of love) and to earn their place in the "deserving of love" category to start with, but that's not actually what they need. Conditional love does not solve the issue of feeling like you are, fundamentally, unlovable or unworthy of being loved. They would need to have that need addressed somehow, like actually working through whatever their parents did or didn't do to/for them, but that's hard and uncomfortable and would require a lot of personal emotional risk, like making themselves vulnerable to being ousted from the group they've spent so much time and effort burying themselves in. So they don't do that.
At the end of the day it's easier to draw a fat black version of [insert character here] who's agender and uses xe/xir pronouns and is a communist, than it is to recognize your parents didn't give you what you needed as a baby and might never do that.
I know where these characters are from, and the audacity to make blondie there "aro-ace" when they're canonically a fucking possessive bully-rapist sends my goddamn sides into orbit, frankly.
