The community I live in has a fair amount of homophobia, contrasted by ridiculous wokeness in one or two snobby towns where only wealthy twits with degrees in the arts can afford to live. Be gay, lesbian, or trans in one town, you get beat up. Be gay, lesbian, or trans in the wealthy ones, and everyone wants to interact with you to make themselves feel more virtuous and make you the token fag of the group. In those areas, there's pressure to be out whether you want to be or not.

In conclusion, stop acting like every Kiwi is some male, alt-right neo-nazi. Some of us are, and some of us are personally affected by he issues you profess to care so much about. I specifically have a problem with modern trans culture because it turns normal gender variant behavior into a reason to have costly and harmful medical procedures and invasive surgeries done to children. If Tom wasn't such a repellant person anyway, I would actually have a little sympathy for him, because his doctor and medical team are lying to him and enabling him delusions by providing him feminizing hormones. Those won't help with his already disordered mind, and they are already having a host of other negative side effects that I'm sure Tom doesn't even realize could be coming from there. For example, gastrointestinal issues, where we know there are a lot of estrogen receptors and where estrogen levels have been associated to things like IBS and ulcerative colitis. It can also do things like relax internal sphincters, making GERD more common. Males, even deformed ones like Tom, are supposed to produce estrogens in the breakdown of testosterone in local tissues. They aren't supposed to get a megadose of it like they had an ovary. Who know how much of Tom's constant gross body functions are because he's being dosed with a powerful drug for no reason other than to shut him up about being intersex?
