Why would a child emancipated from an abusive household need to have sex with an adult? What possible benefit--individual or societal--would result from that?

The child could find other children to have sex with if they really need to have sex (they don't). You want the most vulnerable of children to be preyed on by the worst adults..and you want it legal.

I feel like his reasoning is half-formed. His intention is to take runaway teens in, using the current “persecuted trans people” narrative as cover, and then coerce them into sex, like he did with Sabrina. But because he’s not very bright, he says the quiet part loud.
