That’s like saying a wolf is a dog just because it belongs to order Canis.
Same order (chiropteran), different genuses. Flying foxes are genus pteropus, whereas other bats have a separate genus, such as rhinolophus (horseshoe bats).
Good luck finding a flying fox in the wild in Canada.
Welp, RIP just in case. Ugly bastard got to jam his knobby little dick into a lot of desperate pretty women over the years. Can't take that away from him, now can 'ya?

Hollywood has suffered tremendously in Big Harv's absence.
It's not coincidence that actresses have been ugly as shit since he went down. Like it's no coincidence that Jennifer Lawrence stopped getting work after Hurrican Harvey went down. Ha. Went down. Ironic.
Despite them both being the biggest nepo babies in Hollywood, I really doubt Maya Hawk and especially Lily Rose Depp would be actresses today had Ol' sick fuck Harv was still calling the shots. But maybe I'm biased because that ugly Depp bitch ruined the Nosferatu movie.
Idk what the fuck Eggers did to Anya Taylor Joy but he needs to apologize ASAP and get her back. I've already written off the Werwulf movie I was initially excited for because of Johnny's fuck ugly offspring.
/rant sorry for the sperging, that's been bugging me for awhile.
They look like horrific mutations of proper wolf stock, the result of centuries of animal abuse and unspeakable crimes committed against healthy animals. Dr. Frankenstein himself would be disgusted at the thought of "poodles" being called "dogs."

I got bitten by a bat in my sleep once. The wife and I got up the very next morning and both went for rabies shots, it’s a no-brainer. That said, shit is hideously expensive.

Depends where you live in the world. There are many places where there is simply no need for windows to keep out the cold so there are none in homes. Bats come in looking for something to eat. Vampire bats release a coagulant anaesthetic in their saliva so that any animal or human being bit in their sleep don't feel it.
Had a friend whose laundry washer broke and he couldn’t get a new one for several days. Offered to take in his laundry so he could have clean work clothes… unfortunately, he had put the box of it in his shed in the meantime. Bat got in my house, explored our warm and toasty bed at night, and I kicked it. Little guy was just defending himself and in my sleepy, irritated haze, I caught him and let him go outdoors before thinking about getting him tested.
Eons ago before AC was a thing in the Rust Belt, I was awakened by something flying in and out of my bedroom in the early morning hours. Being a teen, I did the sensible thing and hid under the covers. Later that day we found that a bat had gotten in where a storm screen had slipped and left a gap. The bat was found hanging out in another window on the storm screen.* I don't recall who removed it or how it was removed. My mom called our doctor to ask about rabies and he said (circa 1970 something) that if I did not have an apparent bite, then he recommended that nothing be done. This incident does recur to me when I hear the kind of bat bite/kid dies happenings and I get chilled remembering that I was so lucky.
*Storm windows are secondary exterior or interior windows installed over existing primary windows to improve thermal insulation, reduce drafts, and protect glass from weather damage. They are a cost-effective alternative to full window replacement, particularly for older homes with single-pane glass or historic properties where maintaining original aesthetics is essential.
