Why are the online retards upset about Milly Alcock or whatever her name is.
She looks like a Neanderthal with Downie eyes. On Xitter, she was compared to Cha-Ka, the Neanderthal boy character from the 1970s live-action TV show Land of the Lost, and the resemblance is stunning.
Also, the characterization is Gunnesque, so YMMV, but I'd assume anyone seeing the movie would be prepped for that.

Why would they do damage control for this troll doll when they trashed the hell out of Brie Larson?

Why would they do damage control for this movie when they regularly trash the hell out of super hero films?

And they already did the "nobody cares about supergirl" thing on best of the worst.

Abo DNA denies her from ever being above a 2, simple as
No one wants to see this shit for a whole ass movie.
Where some actresses and models, like Cara Delavigne for one example, are 50-percenters, where they look amazing half the time, but blech the other 50%, Alcock is a 10-percenter, and not even built nicely enough to be a butterface.

You’re online, you figure it out.
I am online but also a retard.

E: I also didn't think she looked that bad then a google image search and the picture they selected for her Wikipedia article? Woof.

I just wasn't sure if there was some controversy or if it was just her appearance. Fair enough.

On the subject of the trend of aggressive underexposure, do these films look acceptable in a completely dark theater? Is this an attempt to get people to go back to the theaters instead of watching on their home setups?
They look terrible on even the best theater or home setups. There is also a trend now of using A.I. mastering services to remaster old movies for 4K Blu Ray that look like complete shit. James Cameron had a bunch of awful 4K releases of his old movies that looked washed out or discolored. The first Avatar release has aliasing all over the place. The entire industry is run by artistic and technical incompetents.

She’s also a shitty actress and doesn’t suit the character’s personality from the bulk of the comics over the years. They turned the character into a bitchy drunken skank.

I’m assuming they’ll love this since they cried about the old Supergirl movie playing to its target audience of little-teen girls at the that time.

They should love this “grown up” take weird Gen-X boomers have been doing with her.

I was just reading a reddit post yesterday about the Wikipedia picture for Leslie Jones, people were claiming its racist. Others were saying you have to use photos with no owners rights. Appearently unflattering wikipics are a hot topic as to if its intentional or not.

How the hell could anyone take a flattering picture of Leslie Jones?

i forgot what 4k transfer i was watching but the geniuses decided to digitally erase the film grain. it gave everyone and everything the appearance of clay or wax and took out a lot of the details that make 4k worth it.

I strongly resist cricizing women who aren't from the Hollywood plastic surgery mould machine, but yeah...she's very unfortunate looking. I don't want her to change her face, but she shouldn't be playing supergirl.

Lord knows what six degrees of Kevin Bacon-esque Hollywood orgy circles James Gunn was advised by to cast her for that role. There are so many more beautiful untouched by the scalpel Lynda Carter looking women that would have been more fitting for that role. What a waste.
