I still think the theory that Chris would hang around on college campuses, see some girl standing outside, then her boyfriend comes up and she gets excited and they hug and both go off together really fucked him up. He probably thought they didn't know each other, and it was love at first sight, then he thought that girls just didn't know he was looking and that's why none of them did the same thing to him, thus the sign.
As that "Ivy Saga" showed, he'd likely plan dates in advance -- with parents involved -- and he'd think it would mean "basically promised" "hanky panky" with the third date.
Was that where that freak tried some dating sites?

Barb and Chris are pretty similar in that regard. They both exhibit all or nothing thinking that always devolves to whatever the easiest option is. In Barbs case it was apparently to never cook again because her property refused her offer of spaghet.
It's also his general fashion made him look like someone's downy grandpa from the 50's.

Actually, yes, comparing Chris to Anthony Freemont is a very apt thing. What's even more horrifying is the modern Twilight Zone did a sequel episode where Anthony has a daughter almost the same way Chris's fantasized daughter Crystal would have turned out (read: THE WHOLE TOWN IS FUCKING DEAD).
I actually don't think the CD cover mattered that much in the greater scope of things. Sure, it's why Sonichu exists, but the only thing that happened was Chris being told that minimally ripping off licenced characters means you have COMPLETELY original characters. Had Sonic been allowed, or Sonichu rejected for just being yellow Sonic (ironically entirely possible had the teacher known about the Super Sonic form), CWCville would just be populated by the original characters outright, with all the weirdo elemental hedgehogs replaced by pokemon (I.E. Magi-chan being straight up Mewtwo). Remember 'Rex Skysoar?' Probably not, but Chris decided he needed goddamn Eggman for something so he just renamed the design, then never actually used him.
Wasn't he just a "recolor" of the main villain of that American Rabbit 'toon?
