This year I saw some places take it down a week before July started. Feels like Juneteenth diverts all the forced attention to the blacks and no one wants to go back to queers on Junetwentieth.

we are so entrenched in discourse at all times for the sake of our OWN performance of who is the wokest and who is REALLY an ally or a good community member that we have basically handed over all the work of activists of the last several decades to the other side because we'd rather scream at each other over fucking chicken restaurants and shit than the real life backsliding that's happening.

and this goes for other shit too. feminism, poc rights, all of it.

also. trans rights aren't discourse and aren't just culture war arguments. in case any terfs think they can spin this to be antitrans.

It's one of the most baffling things about the Left, they'll claim they're against racism and religious hate and stuff like that, but are endorsing an entity that promotes those exact things. Sure there's plenty to criticize Israel and Zionists for, but it's rather ironic that they criticize the only country with a Pride Parade in the Middle East.

You'll see less for sure. Some corporations may change their logos, or release a shirt or two. But it won't be to the extent like we saw in 2018 or 2019 with the pride stuff being shoved everywhere.

Honestly, a lot of those look like normal rainbow color schemes. Like from the 90's, before the gays took over. I think it has a lot to do with gradient colors, or having more colors than the Pride six.
