I expected this to be more interesting than it was. TL;DR This guy is upset that Jagex doesn't do anything about RS3? Jagex affiliate content creators mocking Charlie Kirk's death or cheering on violence against "fascists". He was at some point timed out or banned from the content creator discord, and seems to feel that what these people are doing is worse than what he did. Much of the video is Asmongold clips and is less about something Jagex has done and is more about Jagex "enabling violent rhetoric" by not penalizing left leaning violent retarded affiliate content creators the way they do right leaning retarded affiliate content creators. I was expecting a collection of grave dancing tweets from JMods.

He does mention a content creator who tweeted about gooning to a Zanik plush. Which is pretty fucking disgusting. But Jagex will happily allow references to gooning degeneracy and CSAM in their name system and chat, so why would this bother them?

Sad to see some things never change. I saw a similar discussion in game recently trying to justify pedophilia with similar arguments. I've had my chat set to off ever since, but even that doesn't stop gross usernames from popping up at things like Wintertodt/Tempoross. I have never seen a loli/CP related name be forced to change out of any of the countless ones I've reported and kept on my ignore, but I've seen countless friends/clannies with right wing references be forced to change their names.

It shouldn't be surprising there's a political lean at Jagex. This is more of a pet theory than anything, but after Mod North axed pride events specifically to steer clear of controversy, I'd imagine the company doesn't want to invite any more anytime soon. The Charlie Kirk situation is (relatively) inconsequential for a britbong company as well, so a discord tranny janny choosing not to dip its toes in is par for the course.

The forestry event where you save a fox from poachers is literally just you ruining an NPC's hunting grind. The whole hunter skill is just poaching. Why are these foxes so precious? I've killed hundreds of different kinds of wildlife and dumped their furs and meat right there on the ground, it's never an issue then.

Recently turned this thing on for the first time.

I'm quite unsure what to do or where to go, but it has been strangely enjoyable. I find myself spending a good amount of time grinding.

I like the quests and little stories they are, though walking back 'n forth gets tedious.

Doesn't seem to be many people chatting, or at least I couldn't get someone to talk with (maybe they think I'm gay) - is this because I'm on F2P servers, and members worlds are more "alive"?

Everyone is preoccupied with their own grinds but there's conversation to be had if you look for it. W301 has and always will be the chattiest server in general and it's F2P. In members' worlds you have to know where to go, like W302 GE, Wintertodt mass on the WT world, Forestry events etc.

Runescape is more of a solo game with a side of multiplayer, so there isn't much socialization. If I got stuck doing stuff with someone near, I try to atleast make small talk. Its never stopped my f2p accounts from being banned though. I would advise just doing everything without a guide, there's a good 20+ hours of content to do as a f2p. I wouldn't attempt the rune scimitar grind unless you are insanely autistic though.
